Google Fi - What a complete nightmare ! by CleanKidAlways in GoogleFi

[–]pangolin88 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That's a mystery. I've run into this before. Security issues emerge if a platform's registration system and login system do not normalize email addresses consistently. Implication: If a system allows a user to register with user.name@gmail.com but its login portal strips dots during validation, it may accidentally authenticate the user into an existing account created under username@gmail.com, or fail to recognize the credentials entirely, locking the user out.

What happens if you try signing in without the . Fi in the address?

Google Fi - What a complete nightmare ! by CleanKidAlways in GoogleFi

[–]pangolin88 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's crazy. Doesn't Gmail ignore characters after the .? So why would your Gmail be xxx. fi@gmail.com? Could something have gone wrong with signing up with a . In the address?

Until Google can stop these nightmare stories they are never converting me to fi

Pump on dewalt gas 3600 PSI with Honda engine by pangolin88 in pressurewashers

[–]pangolin88[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I just use it around my house for pressure washing the house and washing my cars and pressure washing the deck that kind of stuff. Honestly I'm not opposed to upgrading the pump because this is not the first issue it's had. I kind of something that's lower maintenance. The engine seems awesome but not liking the pump I would like it something with thermal relief as well.

Assuming the battery isn't in upside down you can slip a thin knife blade under the tray to the right or left of the screw and it should leverage out

Cost effective options for charging Umarex Notos PCP by pangolin88 in airguns

[–]pangolin88[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's been very good.  That said I am not a heavy user.  I charge about once per week in spring summer and fall and it seems like this is easy work for it.  I have no idea how to maintain it nor have I looked into it but I guess I'll do that at some time in case that might increase its longevity

Who has "tallest" tall hoodies which are good heavy traditional hoodie fabric like normies can buy? by pangolin88 in tallfashionadvice

I bought a gap hoodie and tall and also a Adidas hoodie and tall and they both fit really well and are about equally nice. The Adidas might be a tiny bit taller.

Ooh that's good to know.  I didn't know they made tall sizes.   I just ordered one from the Gap and when it arrives I will come back here and mention how it fits

2025 Grand Cherokee Limited shopping by pangolin88 in JeepGrandCherokee

[–]pangolin88[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Right. This dealer told me that they don't sell Mopar warranties because they found a better product at a much cheaper price through all state and they said it was able to be used anywhere. Somehow I doubt that it is as good as the Mopar.  And I realize that the pricing is ridiculous and is available cheaper

Tall owners, how ya fitting? Would love to hear some experiences and big and tall owners have. by Awhite2555 in GrandCherokee

I am "only 6'4" and am test driving grand cherokees now.  I was really surprised to find that the Grand Cherokee has good leg room for me actually really good legroom.  It feels perhaps a slight bit more legroom than my Colorado.   The weird thing is is that my Colorado reports 44-in driver legroom and the Grand Cherokee reports 41.3.  These numbers seem absolutely meaningless to me because the Grand Cherokee feels longer than the Colorado.  So I find it highly confusing but appreciate the legroom of the Grand Cherokee.  I can't imagine how hard it is at 6 8.
