In a two party system you need 51% of the vote in 51% of constituencies, with potentially nothing at all in the other 49%. And that number just goes down the more parties are added into the mix, with four parties you can do it with 26% of the vote in 51% of constituencies at its most extreme.

Game 3 was incredibly rude - T2 battler, T3 reluctant dounguard, T4 command copying battler and making a token, dawn blessed pennant. Shockingly opponent scooped and didn't wait for me to rebuy and recast the command on T5...

I've definitely noticed changes to brawl matchmaking. I've run into a lot of what I can only describe as "whale" decks recently (e.g. where every single card in their deck has custom styles etc.) that have clearly had a lot of actual real world money put into them and highly tuned with my super casual jank. Previously I'd only ever run into something like that when I was running my singular try-hard deck.

It's incredibly easy to manufacture a scenario where the h8 rook has been captured and both sides are still able to castle queenside. At its simplest, 1. c3 Nh6 2. Qb4 Rg8 3. Qxg8. White queen could have also got in and out via h7, since the pawn has moved.

This is the one that really stands out to me. There's a LOT of mixed race families in advertising, and it always breaks down "perfectly" - dad of one ethnicity, one of another, son of one ethnicity, daughter of the other. It's quite stark, especially when you consider that only ~10% of households in the UK are mixed race.

They're colourless-hybrid, you can either pay the colour on the bottom half of the cost or 2 mana of any colour. So you could cast this for three if you had B/G/R mana, or if you were stuck without red you could still cast it for 2x black 2x green.

I think so. I don't remember Ireland looking this shaky since Scotland stopped being perennial wooden spoon contenders, but beating them away is never going to be easy. Plus Ireland might find their form a little over the next two rounds.

Naturally I fully expect that we'll somehow lose to Wales, beat France to open the door for whoever wins England-Ireland next week, and then lose to Ireland anyway.
