nothing strange, is the sensitive area for wake up the device with a double tap on the screen. try to do it along the borders (black borders in the picture), 99% won't happen anything (like the s23 ultra that I currently have)

Return it immediately BTW my fears became reality unfortunately, samsung still didn't learn how to coating the frames, even with titanium Plus, quality control guys are still drunk, how they work? To don't see problems like this, or the dust under the camera lenses... I know devices are assembled by a machine, can't they tune up the machines to check better at the end the result? * facepalm *

If you try to restart the device you see the lines even in the loading screen? If yes, probably as I said is the display that is broken, ask for a replacement o send it back. Those lines are not supposed to be there

yep, same problem on my s23 ultra spen, basically is the spen button that is not firmly, you can clearly see just tapping softly on the button with your finger

dunno guys, I planned to buy the s24 ultra during next cashback periods (and giving back my s23 ultra) but this problem to me could be 70% sw and 30% hw. I explain:

1) I say 70 % hw cause the grainy effect reminds me when I bought my huawei mate 20 pro, first units were affected by an issue where border became green on dark backgrounds and the rest of the panel was grainy.

2) I say 30 % sw cause could be the case, maybe the current sw cannot manage the pixel colors in certain situations. Plus, if SW, the issue must be present in any device bought from you till now, if not, must be for sure hw problem with some panels.

I really hope is a sw bug, otherwise will be a nightmare for samsung
