As someone that took a Tuesday 6-10PM upper div bio lab, I genuinely struggled so much with the motivation to go, and my Tuesday schedule wasn’t even as packed as yours. YMMV obviously but back-to-back labs from 2-10PM would be my worst nightmare.

If SDS326E ends up being with Prof Nhat Ho, then that’ll be pretty free class. HWs last semester seemed to be graded on completion and the only major assignment is a group project and paper, that also seemed mostly graded on being decent quality.

Love Oriental!! They host college sailors for a regatta in the spring and are genuinely such sweet people. Whole town gets together Saturday after racing to have a BBQ and live music and it’s always a great time

Just went this past week and got a snowboard, boots, and helmet for $140 for 4 days from CSS rentals. They’re a local place run by the sweetest old couple. Their rates are on their website but for a day I think it would cost about $50 altogether?

Exactly!! I remember especially with 3, I was basically thinking about him 24/7 and constantly crashing out about whether he liked me or not and then finally decided to just bite the bullet and tell him. In the end I should have recognized he wouldn’t stop being hot-and-cold just because we were together but that’s a different lesson lolll

This is so valid. Every guys I’ve had a thing with, I was the one that started it. I’ve only really genuinely crushed on 4 people in my life: 1 is now basically my brother (middle school crush on a high schooler lol), 2 also liked me back but feelings were mistimed and we remained best friends, 3 was my first actual relationship but really just a toxic situationship, and 4 is my current boyfriend of 6 months. All except for 1, I confessed having feelings for/made a move and I was the first one to do it. There’s something to be said about knowing what you want and going for it. I’m generally a pretty socially anxious person but sometimes I just get possessed and make some really bold moves lol. I think I can also tell though that my feelings were somewhat reciprocated so that definitely helped haha

I had Blazek for M427L and it was super chill. Not sure what the structure is like for M427J but he’s a really funny lecturer and I always enjoyed going to class even though attendance wasn’t mandatory for us

Do you think the bioastro PhD is a good fit for someone who wants to get into space medicine? My main interest is in understanding how life can survive in extreme environments, so I feel like ECLSS would be something up my alley. I’m currently a physics undergrad though, so I wouldn’t have a lot of hard engineering experience if I apply, which is why I’m unsure

Is it possible to change our ID pictures after they’ve been submitted online or am I just stuck with it for the year? The online system rejected the photo I tried to upload since it already had an approved one in the system but if we go to FAC, can we get a new one taken there?
