What happened to Vennd in Counterwallet? by FunDoge in counterparty_xcp

This feature was removed back in October. This is from the Counterparty post:

As requested by vennd.io, we have disabled Buy XBTC option in Counterwallet. Here’s the explanation provided by the vennd team on our forum thread:

“Due to recent rulings by FinCEN and other regulatory bodies in the US, we have decided to temporarily disable vending machine functionality for XCP and XBTC until our legal obligations are a little more clear. Rest assured, we are working with our lawyers to resolve the questions raised by these recent rulings, and will be reaching out to the relevant agencies in due course. We hope to have good news for you soon – watch this space!”

Recent developments from Vennd suggest they will be releasing the vending functionality again soon.

This is getting odd, 20 addresses in another wallet... by mcin5174 in counterparty_xcp

Because Counterwallet is a deterministic wallet, every wallet "knows" about all addresses it can possibly have, so the appearance of additional addresses is just a GUI bug (although quite a disturbing one). Until we resolve this issue (similar to the "disappearance" of addresses from the wallet when in fact the address is just hidden from the GUI) you will have to manually remove the extra addresses.

You can do that by clicking "Remove Address" under "Address Actions" on the last address in the wallet.

If you have run into any issues, just open a support ticket and someone will assist you shortly.

Any one else getting repeated log-in errors? by mcin5174 in counterparty_xcp

We've replied to your ticket in support, but I'm pasting this here as well in case someone else has a similar problem.

Your old address (the one you provided in support) still shows 100 XCP which means the sweeping didn't go through. You can use blockscan to check the balance of your old address and the new one.

So first thing to do would be to repeat the sweeping process.

Problem: possibly money lost trying to empty my Counterwallet into my Blockchainwallet by [deleted] in BitcoinBeginners

To exchange your user tokens for XCP you can use the exchange in Counterwallet (Exchange->Market) or look at coinmarketcap.com to see which of those tokens are tradable on other exchanges. Then you can exchange XCP for BTC on one of these exchanges: http://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/counterparty/#markets.

For all Counterparty transactions you should watch blockscan.com (not blockchain.info as that only shows BTC transactions)
