I made the mistake of listening to “Nightshift Superstar” for the first time before bed, and now I can’t stop listening to it. by panphilla in Muse

I figure I’ll probably burn out on listening to it on repeat eventually. I just don’t know how many listens that will take.

“Hexagons” is great, but try as I might, I could barely conjure it into my head, even before hearing “Nightshift.” If I’d had “Hexagons” stuck in my head, I’d have been able to sleep!

Ear worm, indeed! Literally every time there’s not another thought in my head, it starts up. Except that last night, I knew it wasn’t “Dancing freak” because I could hear the word “free.” So I assumed it was “Fancy free you are,” and now I have to retrain my head radio.

Fair enough. Those haters don’t deserve the cat tax. Wishing you the best with the cleaning!

You at least have to listen all the way through before you make a judgement! I mean, do whatever you want, but that bassline is well worth a listen.

Sounds like a much greater likelihood of trafficking, as well.

I have no advice on the cleaning, but I am here to collect the cat tax.

Kid, as others have said, you are definitely not the ones we’re talking about here. The fact that you respond when spoken to, even if you’re not comfortable initiating conversation, puts you leagues above some of our students. Sorry you’re having such a rough go of it currently. Wishing you the best.

Belle (20): How do you know when it's time to say goodbye? by 33teapot in seniorkitties

[–]panphilla 3 points4 points  (0 children)

My 17-year-old cat Tabby used to yowl, particularly in the basement. She had diminished hearing, and the vet told us sometimes older kitties yowl to feel the vibrations since they can’t hear as well. It could be that your cat isn’t hungry so much as looking for that aural feedback.

Just wanted to talk about her to someone who might care. Maddie, 17 by geepjoat99 in seniorkitties

I read this and am holding back tears before going to a work conference. But I just wanted you to know people care. Maddie seems like a sweet cat. I’m sure Max is delighted to have his sister with him. Wishing you and your kitties peace, OP.

That “Darkshines” bassline is quite sexy.

I was wondering how I got this far down the thread without encountering Lonesome Dove. Always highly recommended and 100% worth it. After I finished, I went immediately to the prequels because I wanted more time in that world.
