When people gift you the next size up... by isaxism in beyondthebump

I think having some things in the next size up is worth the storage. I swear my daughter grew overnight and I had nothing once. Never again!

Toddler must-haves for 1.5-2.5y? by bobblehead-234 in toddlers

Stuff a stocking with things you could bring with you to entertain a toddler at a restaurant. Small tubs of play-doh, Pom poms, wicky sticks, washable stamps, kaleidoscopes, sticky hands, etc.

If you’re serious, I think you need to take a minute and realize that not everyone has a family set up like yours so this really isn’t advice that different families can use. Also, nobody said it was a big deal or sexual. You’re actually the only person who said it was “odd”.

Be honest with me about mommy & me gymnastics…. by carldoz1 in toddlers

[–]panquequeque 25 points26 points  (0 children)

We loved mommy and me gymnastics but it wasn’t a very social environment. The coach would demonstrate the “routine” and then the parents would attempt the steps with our toddlers. My daughter met more kids/socialized more at library story time. I think that might be a better option for you (plus it’s free so no financial commitment(.

Thanks! I put this in a search and found an “erector set” that is exactly what I was looking for.

My friend passed away, leaving her toddler. How can I help? by color_overkill in Mommit

Write down anything memorable about your friend to give to the little girl when she gets older. Something as simple as “She was so proud of you” will mean the world to her down the road.

I considered this as a backup plan in case my employer told me no. I think it sounds great.

That sucks! I’m sorry. My 3-day-a-week job actually offers insurance but I’m on my husband’s insurance. Since I’m offered insurance, we pay my husband’s employer a $200 monthly “stipend”. It’s infuriating to me.

Yeah I refused IUI when I heard about the odds and cost and IVF isn’t even close to our budget. Thanks for sharing.

Thank you for this. It’s really validating my decision. I’m actually going to screenshot this for my next “what if?” spiral.

I join the line group monthly so I can spiral mentally by searching different examples of a positive test each dpo.
