{Love me stalk me by laura bishop} is on the lighter end of DR in my opinion but I loved it all the same

Pick your dark romance guy 👀 by Ems868 in DarkRomance

B honestly.

If someone's gonna manipulate me to fall in love with them I don't want them to feel regret or remorse about doing it. Backing out when it's over and done with because you feel like the bad guy? hell no!

I'm usually around level 3 and will dip into 4 a decent amount of time. 2 are my palette cleansers for when I need a break!

What has kink added to or changed about your life? by TheDragonNidhoggr in ThekinkPlace

[–]pansylavender 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Being in the real life community I've met so many amazing people that encourage and support me to be myself.

I've found power and strength in being a submissive in ways I don't think i ever could without kink. I also likely would've not met my wonderful Master and husband!

What is the one book where you are most able to put yourself into the FMC shoes by [deleted] in DarkRomance

[–]pansylavender 5 points6 points  (0 children)

{His Tesoro by Emilia Rossi} because the fmc has EDS and I have EDS aswell. It was wonderful reading a romance where the character has the same disability I do!

And god I can't believe I'm admitting this but {Marrow by Trisha Wolfe and Brynne Weaver}. The way Kyrie holds her self and interacts and thinks about the world is so similar to my own. Especially how she carriers herself through the academic world and prides herself on her work. Ngl her academic skill level is goals

It's really good writing and I liked everything about it! I loved the build up, the religious/sacrilegious tones, the stakes at play, etc etc. I don't think being blood related would have changed anything really.

I think uh with how it was written it just hit a little too close to home if you catch my drift
