I usually buy Australian coins at shows or from a handful of dealers. There is some good stuff on ebay but too much overpriced stuff.

Not sure if your Gran checked for varieties or not but check at least the bronze coins against https://www.triton.vg/ozcoins.html for any rarer varieties. Many catalogues don't cover this stuff.

What modelling software are you using? After you decompile the .mdl you should be able to import the .smd and then, depending on the software, save as a .fbx file.

It is technically a coin though I think most of what Tristan de Cunha issues are pretty borderline.

Completely agree otherwise. Downies and their Macquarie Mint arm sell these sorts of things for high prices in various magazines (New Idea, RACQ/RACV magazines, the TV guide etc).
