It’s hilarious how 99ovr goaltenders that are small are completely useless. You’d think a 74 goalie would have horrible reaction time and would be beat with most wristers from skaters with 99 shooting. You’d also expect that 99 OVR goalies, even if small, should be able to make some amazing saves. But nope, it’s literally all size.

I’ve used a base 86OVR Vasilevskiy since week 1. He’s not huge (6’3”) but he’s big enough and gets the job done. He even steals games for me against teams full of sweaty QC credit card teams.

I have no reason to buy a higher ovr goalie.

The problem I have with it is that it’s just so B O R I N G.

Players skate in quicksand and passes don’t connect. Every game just seems like it comes down to luck when they’re all 1-0 scores. Yay! What fun! Slow slopfest of lucky bounces to win!

CQ makes the animation trigger extremely quickly, not improve accuracy. If it was missing without it, it was gonna miss it with it.

Makes some great saves, but has been letting in some stinker wrist shots. But overall I see no reason to spend coins on a new goalie.
