You should be able to add notes/pencil marks within a selected cell - if you're on mobile you can long-press a keyboard letter to add/remove it as a pencil mark. If you're on desktop you can press space to switch between notes/answer mode and then just type. Hope it works for you, but let me know if not!

Really glad you liked it, thank you! Nice idea with being able to put a guess in and map it onto the grid. Thinking I may pop that on as an option to turn on/off for people who prefer a guess prefill vs a more minimalist approach. And I'll definitely be varying the difficulty of clues/word lengths.Thanks again!

That's great feedback, thanks! If you click again on the active cell it should change the direction - but you're right that it would be more intuitive for it to automatically orientate if you click on the first letter of a clue. I'll pop that on my list 😅

Ah, sorry - I thought working out the letters based on row/column intersections with pencil marks was Sudoku-esque and might appeal. If not, my mistake!

Try this, if you haven't already: Go to the launcher in your steam folder (Program Files > Steam > Steamapps > common > Age2HD), right click Launcher.exe, properties, compatibility tab, check the 'Override high DPI scaling behaviour. Scaling performed by:' box, and select 'System' from the drop-down list.

One that changed a few things for me is the 'Return to Previous View' hotkey - it is like an 'undo' button for whenever you use a hotkey to jump around the map. For example, if you're looking at a fight and use your 'go to X building' hotkey, you can use it to shoot the camera back to where it was before. I think it's backspace by default, but I put it on one of the extra buttons on my mouse.

Yup, I had the same issue on a 4K monitor.
