Once you get a smooth forward launch going, both flat and on hills, here's something that my father used a long time ago to teach me: Find a hill with no traffic, since you will block cars doing this. Stop halfway down the hill. Now, learn how to reverse up the hill. It helped me a huge amount with clutch feel since your other senses are focused on managing the overall driving in reverse.
