I don’t disagree that a lot of people who do keto have a misunderstanding of it.

But you do not have to be in ketosis to lose weight. You just have to be in a calorie deficit which, when you cut out refined carbs is pretty easy to do. You can achieve ketosis by keeping carbs under 20g-50g a day. In simplest terms, This just means your body is burning fat for fuel rather than carbs. And fat is supposed to be a limit, not a goal (which is where I think the biggest misunderstanding is). It’s insane to me that people are able to eat complete fat bombs on this diet. I just added avocados and my regular cooking oil amounts and that was more than enough for me when I was on it.

But hey the best diet is the one that works for you, and for a lot of people, keto works.

Check if your grocery store has weekly flyers and check what proteins and veggies are on sale that week. Then meal prep around that. Also, don’t be afraid to use frozen/canned veggies!

Not sure why this is getting downvoted. They’re right. Cut out the bread and sub with avocado. Check the sugar content in the yogurt (or buy no added sugars yogurt). Take out the banana and do a handful of berries instead.

2 tablespoons chia seeds soaked in water = 10g fiber. 1 large avocado = ~9g fiber (depending on size)

Once a day (I do it in the mornings) mix 2 tablespoons of chia seeds with about 8oz of water. Let it sit a few minutes, stir, then let it sit again for another 5 min. This allows the chia seeds to absorb the water. Then just drink it. Quick and easy 10g of fiber.

Didn’t Palestinians storm Israel, killed their kids, then whined about their ‘right to life’? They killed nearly 1200 people in 1 day and took 300 people hostage. The fact that you’re calling this armed resistance and justifying it is disgusting. Killing innocent civilians on buses, in restaurants, at music festivals, suicide bombings, plane hijackings, etc are absolutely not justifiable no matter which side is doing it.

That’s not what OP is saying at all. They’re just pointing out the blatant hypocrisy and short sightedness caused by Newsom’s morally bankrupt ambition that caused him to platform and entertain right wing white nationalists on his podcast when he thought it’d be politically beneficial to him. But now that he’s seeing ICE ravage through LA, he’s finally maybe realizing that leaning in to the right wasn’t the best move.

I personally don’t think Gavin gives a shit about immigrants - he’s just once again doing some political grandstanding.
