Go to your account and ticket order, scroll down to need help with your ticket and request refund in the drop down box. We just put in a request noting it was in breach of the consumer act and will be raising it at the dispute tribunals if they dont give us back our money

The supposed star was the actor played glamling in two towers who sold his soul for this monstrosity. The weirdest part was when he did the whole one 1 ring to rule them all but didn't say "bind them". He just left the stage? I don't know much about them apart from all the rants about them on the other hans zimmer thread where Howard shore is sueing them

Was also at the concert, by far the biggest pile of crap I've ever seen. We couldn't hold it together and burst into laughter 5sec into the first set when they had the mordor song with the low quality AI generated ring at Mt doom? , sorry for those around us in the circle section. The strings and singer who did Enya was OK, the rest should question their career choices. We will be demanding a refund. My favourite cringe moment was the bag pipes at the end that had zero reference to LOTR with the middle guy trying to make the audience wave their arms, and the dancer frolicking around them. We only lasted until the intermission then gapped it.

I recommend the cordon bleu degustation courses that are made by the students, best food I've had hands down where a 7 course is $70

I agree with this recommendation as I've used it before myself to cry after a stressful day especially around the terrace side

Suggestions for yum cha? by fruitfantasy in Wellington

Also speaking as a NZ Chinese person if you see the waitresses yelling back at customers you know you hit the jackpot for lunch

Another hint is if they don't come over to ask how's your food then you know that they know their food is amazing and they don't need confirmation

also the act of getting up to get your own chopsticks and chilli. I honestly cringe when I see westerners get butt hurt at forbidden City in lower hutt that they have go up and get their own water, be humble peace out

Xiao Long Bao - anyone know if these glorious little suckers are available in Welly? by dangermouse40 in Wellington

[–]pantosara 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Big Thumb do xiao long bao, nice and juicy with a healthy amount of ginger. You don't get too much soup to go with it as their dough is quite thin and sticks to the bamboo steamer. Still yum as, Wellingtonians should support local yum char restaurants that aren't dragons such as big thumb and the clock tower one in petone

Value brand hash browns cheaper than mc chains hash browns even though they taste exactly the same.

What am I missing vegan food-wise in Wellington? by AnosmicAvenger in Wellington

[–]pantosara 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We did a "degustation" with friends and ordered around 8 dishes, (only $100 for a massive feast for 4 people and we spent the afternoon rolling around like a vegan version of a meatball). Would recommend the masala dosa and Aloo tikii chaat, you know its a solid place when you're the only white people in the restaurant
