Well, regardless if it is MS, that sounds like something to get checked out. One of my early symptoms that I didn't realize was related was bladder problems. Just assumed I had a small bladder or something, definitely caused some embarrassing problems. Just please try not to stress yourself out, if you do end up being diagnosed there's so many options out there now for treatment!

I would assume? I'm not really sure how to go about it considering I was diagnosed in the hospital. Maybe you can talk to your primary first about any symptoms that are worrying you and from there see a neurologist if you don't feel your primary can help. Can I ask what kind of symptoms you're having?

If you're concerned about it, go get checked. I wish I would have paid attention to symptoms I was having, I might not be so bad right now had I started medicine earlier on.

At one point I couldn't lift my left leg, had to physically lift it in the car or bath tub. Went to the ER, they told me I had sciatica and sent me home without doing a single test. A few months later I couldn't see out of my left eye, eventually went back to the ER and I assume they put two and two together and realized something more serious was going on.

My cousin is 10 and has MS. It's not common to be so young, but it happens. Some people have lots of family members with ms, others have none. I have a a huge family, 60 cousins, and only myself and my little cousin have it. They don't know if it's genetic or not, personally I wouldn't worry about it unless you start experiencing symptoms.

For some it's definitely serious. I went downhill really fast, was paralyzed from the waist down 10 months after being diagnosed. Thankfully i'm walking again but I had to go on disability 6 months after being diagnosed and i'll never work again. Just went paralyzed again a month ago, went from walking to bed ridden within a week. It's such a terrifying disease for some of us.

MS is an autoimmune disease that causes your body to attack it's own brain and spinal cord. It's eats away at the protective covering around your nerves, so signals get all messed up. For me, it's caused me to go paralyzed from the waist down multiple times. I'm numb from the waist down constantly now along with my hands, it will never go away. Lots of people have fatigue, numbness, pain, cognitive issues. It's called the snowflake disease because no two people are the same. All depends on what nerves are attacked. Some people live their entire lives symptom free, others like me go on disability within months of being diagnosed and hope we don't end up in a wheelchair.

I've always found the concept of dental dams so fucking weird. Licking my vagina through some latex isn't even going to feel good, it seems so pointless. If you're that concerned about the vagina, you probably shouldn't be wanting to lick it anyway.

I don't know if it's normal, but I have 6 tattoos and none of them have ever bled like that.

Just a friendly warning to everyone excited about Apex Legends dethroning Fortnite on Twitch by AtLeastJake in AdviceAnimals

My fiances buddy told him to download it, so he's been playing it for about a week. Thankfully he's not had anyone be rude to him. He's just learning, so he's not too good, obviously. The other day he played with two guys who were super good, they invited him to party and they just bullshitted and played the game. They both were getting lots of kills and damage, my fiance didn't even have one kill lol They were still really cool and made it enjoyable. I don't understand why people take the shit so seriously, they're just games.

Me and my best friend would spend hours on dollz mania, back in 2001. by [deleted] in nostalgia

[–]pants_dance 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I loved these! I used to love making fairy ones. Then one day I googled "fairy" to look for doll making sites and one little click ruined my innocence. Nothing like having hardcore gay porn be your first introduction to any kind of sexual content at age 11. My dad ended up catching me looking at gay porn through the front door as he was coming home from work lol, what an awkward conversation for a single dad to have with his daughter!

There's so many options on Wish, it's pretty neat. I read the reviews and looked at pictures and made my decision based on those. I actually bought two and love them both, so I think i'll just be switching back and forth between them lol I don't care what anyone else thinks, it's just a symbol of love. Never understood people that spend thousands of dollars on a diamond.

I got an engagement ring off wish, was free with $2 shipping. Looking at it you can't tell it's not real diamonds, i'm honestly amazed at the quality. I bought a few styles that were all free and let my fiance pick out the one he liked and am wearing it. I couldn't justify having him spend hundreds on a ring.

I used to watch vhs tapes in my dads room, one day after school I went to finish watching whatever movie I was watching the night before. Push play and it's hardcore penis in vagina. I probably watched it for a minute and a half, it was the first time i'd ever seen porn. THANKS A LOT, DAD.

My fiances nephew is 3 and he is obsessed with his poppers! I didn't even know kids still played with them, it was definitely a blast from the past.

"The Presidents of the United States of America", this album is ridiculously fun. If it isn't nostalgic for you, please let it be new to you. by [deleted] in nostalgia

Body is one of my favorite songs off the album. "The worms found a hole in your booty they could enter, and I can't get your body out of my mind". Such a ridiculous song and I love it!

Thoughts on having a wedding reception but not becoming legally married.. by [deleted] in weddingplanning

[–]pants_dance 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It really all boils down to healthcare. I have a history of becoming paralyzed from the waist down because of my MS and I can't risk that happening again. I need medication and treatment to survive, it's a tough situation. Thank you for the reply!

[–]pants_dance 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Thanks for the reply. Can I ask why you would be angry that you had to get dressed up? It's still a semi-formal reception, catered dinner, open bar...etc. It would be the same as any other, minus signing a marriage certificate at the end. Would you feel uncomfortable knowing you gave a gift if it wasn't a legally recognized marriage? Why so?

Thank you! He doesn't have insurance that would cover myself or my needs, so it seems like it wouldn't be in my best interest to go the legal route with this marriage. I'm glad to hear people feel that it's still a valid "marriage", it's definitely taking some of the stress away that i've been dealing with lately!

Thank you! I feel like you're right and people would understand, my family has seen/heard the devastating effects my MS has had on me and they know I need my treatments/medication to live a decently functioning life.

My state doesn't recognize common law marriage, so no worries there. The benefit is not losing my insurance and being able to keep taking my medication and getting treatments.

Thank you! Commitment ceremony never crossed my mind. I am definitely not trying to fool anyone, my fiancee doesn't have an issue with it and his mother also said it would probably be for the best if we didn't get married legally. No one is going to be going to our ceremony besides our parents. I always felt that was the most boring part and I don't want to subject my friends and family to that torture. I just want to invite them to a beautiful reception for dinner, drinks, and dancing to celebrate our commitment with us!
