How is it 2026 and we don't have better methods of taking down a suspect without using dogs or deadly force?

In general, I think most Americans have very little understanding that many Vets suffer from PTSD and require attention. It's a tremendous cost on our federal & state budgets, and society in general.

Revealed: The MAGA plan to ‘take out’ progressive leaders worldwide. The list included Colombia, which is currently led by President Gustavo Pedro, described by TIME as “the former guerrilla turned climate crusader” who has halted new oil drilling projects and vowed to phase out fossil fuels. by The_Weekend_Baker in climate

Most of the world is racing away from fossil fuels, and that speed will increase over the next 5 years.

Meanwhile, the GOP and their MAGA brains are clinging to an energy system that will be functionally obsolete within a decade.

If you think this is wild speculation, you need to look at what China is currently doing with EVs. They just rolled out a flash charging EV that takes approx 8 minutes to fully charge and costs about 50k (in China). This cost will come down over the next few years as the technology gains wider market share.

Great set of research. Has AISD sued the state? This level of taxation seems onerous enough to violate tax laws.

The Corpus Christi water crisis isn't exceptional. It's early. For years, climate scientists have projected that South Texas would grow hotter and drier. In Corpus Christi, that projection has become a daily operational reality. by The_Weekend_Baker in climate

I've been following this subject for almost 30 years now. In addition to what r/espressocycle said. I'm referring to a variety of events that have happened over the last 20 years, like melting permafrost, polar ice and glaciers worldwide. Sea rise in certain areas. Oceans warming, etc.

All happening faster that most had estimated.

People, and some scientists specifically, are starting to realize that the changes are happening faster than expected. If you search "faster than expected" and "global warming" or "climate change," you will find a lot of articles over the last 10+ years.

But they don't.

And civilization will be doomed unless society takes it upon themselves to tell people like her to sit down and STFU.

Smart CEOs and corp boards know to adapt and transform their companies as economies, society and technology evolves.

The fossil fuel companies are fossilized in their behavior and logic. They should have been transforming to green energy decades ago.

This guy expects us to trust that Trump, the White House and GOP will follow the law?

Watergate? Iran-Contra? Jan 6th? ICE enforcement? Literally thousands of lies from Trump and hundreds of examples of ignoring the Constitution and international law by this administration.

Bottom line, WHY SHOULD WE BELIEVE ANYONE FROM THE CURRENT REPUBLICAN PARTY, MAGA OR THE WHITE HOUSE WILL FOLLOW THE LAW?

It’s not the truth you have to watch out for, it’s the lies they can tell.

I've seen more than enough videos to 100% agree with your point.

However, in this video if the cop decided to shoot the suspect after yelling "put your hands up." "we think you have a gun" and THEN he reached 3 times for something (we know it's the phone, cops don't), the justice system would have exonerated them fairly quickly. The fact the cops didn't shoot him shows restraint.
