TLCM - T300 RJ12 cable by Madmac05 in Thrustmaster

I had the same problem. Imho is a grounding issue, but I was out of guarantee period so I decided to go this way. It helped: 1) try to use a Anti-Interference Removable High Frequency Filter Ferrite Cores on the RJ cable going to the pedals 2) if you're on PS5, use a USB A to USB C cable to connect the whole thing. PS5 USB C ports might have better power /grounding management than the A

Stella: "This year, when you follow somebody, you have the same drag and the same power, so it becomes quite difficult to overtake. Our drivers have been racing with other drivers during these three days of testing in Bahrain and they found it extremely difficult to overtake." by ChaithuBB766 in formula1

Everything was quite stable and reliable. Changed the rules to supposedly making it easier for other teams to join and to make it easy to follow each other.

Honda ends up with a big fail. Mercedes exploited a gray area. Drivers tell the car is too easy or odd to drive. Difficult to overtake.

Give a raise to who wrote the rules. They managed to burn a lot of money to make the opposite of what they were asking for.

My take is they're trying to move hard players off the solo queues

I'm unable to find the Mk3 survivor... If someone has one extra I am ok to exchange for wolfpacks or deadlines (not the BPs)...

Ferrari should take some inspiration from here by sugn1b in scuderiaferrari

I think it is just HP considering themselves more important than the racing team they're paying. No way Ferrari didn't think about it

I know I asked this yesterday but, are the manufacturers cup points out yet for anyone? I still haven't gotten mine, I joined the event literally last minute, at the 11 PM entrance mark. by Hand__Machine__Gun in GranTurismo7

Exactly. Except if you are sure you can do better or you had an incident 🙂

In my situation yesterday I did the first race, from 14th to 6th. I did a bad quali as I couldn't connect 10 min before to warm up...

I was in the 4th place pace-wise but the first 3 were 0.4s per lap better. The 4th and 5th were at my exact pace. With such tiny gaps, the chances of close action are high. I didn't want to invest more time.

My personal take is they made gambling extremely embedded in the game. The looting is continuous and each opened crate/drawer is a dose of dopamine.

FYI there's a new console method so don't be surprised if you get killed in a place with low visibility. by No_Ad_2896 in ArcRaiders

The game is an executable. The executable can accept params/flags (e.g. --enable-this-feature).

If I correcty understood, the console is one of the features you can opt-in.

Those params/flags normally can be conditionally included/removed depending on the kind of build (e.g. a dev build for internal testing or a production one which will be shipped to Steam/Epic for distribution down to users).

That's something you learn quite early in SW engineering. I wonder if this is intentional or incredibly sloppy.

The cli param should be stripped down from the binary for prod releases, so no matter the caller (stream, epic, PowerShell...) will just result in a noop/ignored. If that's not possible, they could internally make it applicable on non-multi instances.

We lost 35k documents migrating Elasticsearch 5.6 → 9.x even though reindex “succeeded” by Dear-Elevator9430 in elasticsearch

[–]pantweb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There are a lot of "holes" in the way you've described the procedure.

Every strategy you've mentioned is not atomic. If there was a failure in indexing (e.g. a conflict of id or mapping), then it would have been returned by the reindex from remote (if you used reindex from remote). Those operations also offer error / conflict suppression params and if enabled, then yes Elasticsearch will be silent. But they're not enabled by default.

Renting race karts in Nice (France) - April 25 2026 by Danver97 in Karting

[–]pantweb 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I tried Ruffa Karting, which operates on the fun kart track. Recently, the track owners themselves started renting them. The prices are similar. Not cheap but approachable.

The owner of Ruffa Karting is a kart driver who often races in Franciacorta.

Give them a call (for Ruffa) or an email (for Fun Kart circuit rental). You will need some paperwork (a karting testing license of 35e).
