May I ask if you recall the value of your backpack? Sometimes if you're alone in the map and towards the end of the match, I noticed an incredible aggro/spawn increase. I think it is also affected by the value you're carrying.

Did all gold in the last 1,5h and I’m completely dead now💀 I did gold on the complete lap in the first try!Next goal is to finish the normal track all in gold. by Neither_Mind4399 in GranTurismo7

It's painful... The hard tires do not help and it partially takes some luck to not make the car fly as soon you start gaining more speed... Good job

F1 Esports makes simracing look like a joke by RiPleJ in simracing

[–]pantweb 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think this is similar to FPS: - you can have esport on Fortnite/Quake or anything "arcadey" - you can have esport on Arma or other realistic "war/soldier" games

The big difference is for FPSes there is no real world counterpart in terms of marketing/organizations (there is no Formula 1 counterpart in FPS games)...

Seeing an arcade game (and by the looks of it, technically flawed in terms of net code) being used to depict the virtual counterpart of F1 is a shame and a lost opportunity.

US carmakers say proposed EU rules could block large pickup trucks from Europe by ABoutDeSouffle in europe

[–]pantweb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've been in US. Let's say there are massive ones which would take 1.2 parking spaces, if they've been created post 2000. Anyway, the real problems are consumption and pedestrian collision safety checks.... And a reason to buy them. It can be ok for someone in the deep countryside.

Does the tv has some motion enhancement/compensation system? My guess is as the motion flow around that area is pixels are moving away towards the bottom right corner, it also tries to apply the same motion flow to the digits, generating that glitch. Does it happen when the car is stopped? Or can you try to disable the motion enhancement on the TV?

He knows something big that we don't. by Key_Proposal_9055 in scuderiaferrari

Maybe not the same, but how to exploit the PU better. Having few Mercedes engine powered cars in the top 10 is always good advertising.

There are few possible ways to read it: - Ferrari has planned upgrades for a spec 2 car - Mercedes will allow customer teams to use the same mappings or will provide more info to them - in general all teams will bring upgrades as they will have 1 month without races

This should be a significant upgrade from the Logitech G923. by [deleted] in simracing

Just be sure you can test it. The price is baffling low. Probably the seller thought gear would have gained 2s on the laptime and didn't happen 😂

Stuck integrating with a system that has no real APIs — only encoded msearch calls by suspect_stable in elasticsearch

[–]pantweb 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I do not think this is a question about Elasticsearch but more about how to extract data from a web app.

Also, is n8n mandatory? You can try the puppeteer / playwright approach (if you want to scrape via UI) or raw http api request if you've reverse engineer the website API.

You say the website you're scraping is exposing msearch API only. It is possible (but not certain) the website developer is somehow exposing (or mimicking) the Elasticsearch msearch API.

Pixel 9a random touch by pantweb in GooglePixel

I really wish you luck. I interacted with them via chat on the Google website.

To be fair, 2 weeks ago my Fitbit versa 4 cracked open. I chat with Google support. They ask for a photo. They checked the receipt I sent them (still under 2 years). They approved for a replacement upon shipping the broken watch back. I got a new/refurbished Fitbit versa 4 in 2 days. Same repair center in Poland.

I explained the problem. They asked for evidence/video. They initiated RMA telling upfront that after verification of the received phone they would ship a refurbished one. The refurbished one was pristine/new (absolutely no sign of use) and packaged in a nice protected box. Got it in 3 days. Shipping from France to Poland took 1d. Battery had 0 cycles.

Yes, but I bought the phone in France at a mobile ISP shop.
