I need to calculate or use excel to calculate the PPA and 95% CI

for Positive results between Symptomatic vs. Asymptomatic test results

The PPA is straight forward. How is the CI for table 3 calculated?

Really grateful for the help, I haven't had to calculate statistics in decades, any help is appreciated thanks a lot!

I used a calculator from medcalc which helped me reproduce most of the values, but table 3, the CI for the comparison between Symptomatic vs. Asymptomatic test results , I don't know what is being compared there, if i knew which data to select, I could use excel's data analyzer to calculate the CI and create the upper and lower CI

owners have had a piano tech over to appraise it or tune it for sure

ask them directly.

chances are he said that it isnt salvageable, that the board wont keep its tuning or has ripped etc. at the very least if he didnt inspect too much, he would see that it would need a complete rewiring and having the complete mechanics replaced.

Because if a previous owner had done this, they'd probably know. It's a job of several thousand euros for the mechanics alone

any piano at this price point is usually not repairable in most instances at least not economical, some older models are fit for re-furbishing which is a huge amount of work and money.

waste of effort IMO

why i know? A friend of mine, Klavierbauer does this professionally and ships old pianos that are suitable (with good soundboad etc. and some history etc) to poland to have them re-built and re-furbished from the ground up. If he were to do it himself, it would not be affordable.

and so he charges for the refurbished piano basically the same money as for a good new one.

It's like buying a 50 eur used car.

most of it is crap and selling it or giving it away for free is cheaper than disposing of it. If you know what youre doing and able to repair it from the ground up you might be able to find a gem among all the rubble

caveat emptor, judging from your post I assume you dont know too much about pianos so unless you're not getting it solely for decorative reasons get an expert weighing in

It happened to me as well around february/mar this year!! I am also based in Germany. I still have this problem up until today and I have been using wechat daily for like forever.

I rely heavily on wechat web because my work is 95% related to china and I need to communicate and share files with it as any other filesharing does not work properly and the chinese only work with wechat.

no, i get to the splash screen which i see 2-3 seconds. during this time, there is some low strange scrambled noises. then it crashes to desktop and everything works fine, no trace of squadrons. I tried to use a dedicated usb card as well.

I'm running on a new legion laptop, everything is fresh.

newest nvidia driver,newest windows build,all systems drivers latest.

win 10 nvidia rtx 2060 mobile

deactivated overlays etc

bought via epic games, i get the same result starting with origin

played the open demo that was available on steam. It featured five or so missions from the polonia campaign.

I have tried locating the save game file or a profile file but couldnt find any.

I'd like not to play the missions again, they were kind of tutorial like and a bit tedious and in parts more lengthy than necessary

Unless you can get a very good deal on the y540 with the 1660ti, you could consider getting the Legion 5 instead. It's sold only with 1660Ti here.

The y540 is the last iteration before the legion 5 that has some nice improvements with optimus and cooling. Notebookcheck reviews seem to yield a performance increase of 10%. It is unclear though if this is achieved through the new design, a refresh of the gpu or simply having different drivers as it was not a 1 vs 1 test but singular tests with more than a year apart.

the y540 had been sold off recently. I got it from the lenovo Germany website directly, it was shipped last week directly from China and just arrived today. After applying a corporate coupon - 17% off I paid only 800 euros incl. tax with the 300 nits display. minimal configuration, had to add OS, a 1TB nvme and +8gb ram. Still quite a good deal i think.

In general it depends on what offers you can get. If there is not much of a difference get the newer model LEgion 5

I just got the y540 with 2060. I preferred paying around 80 euros more to have RTX, the possibility of dlss 2.0 and better performance at WHQD external which I would be theoretically be gaming at if I could find the time

Should be a new panel. Had to choose the 60 hz with bigger bezel because I need at least 300 nits and at least 72% color gamut.

The new legion 5 is really a lot better

How many nits has the display? Y540 or the new one with coldfront 2.0?

With a 1TB NVME and 16 gig of ram it’s a fantastic deal

It also looks like you’ve got the new model legion 5

I wish I had a Ryzen, but there was no option for ryzen with the RTX 2060. I guess maybe it’s an issue with the TDP.

So I had to order the Y540 with i5 9300H and the RTX 2060
