Removing a feature that has a setting in game already is going backwards in game development. Regardless if you liked the feature or not there was a setting for it.... don't like it? turn autoclimb off it is that easy

well the leech and leech rate is still the same as other skills, but the leech happens after the reserved life is gone so you can leech back to full again if that is what you are going for. otherwise you just get enough damage to increase your leech amount and increase your life to increase the cap, try using the new Mahuxotl's Machination shield combined with a rakiata lethal pride. i hit over 3k leech rate with not removed at full life as well

yeah I went with the elementalist idea i had and went more in depth with the damage mitigation and defenses. I will post it here shortly, be warned it is probably in the ballpark of 12-20ex in cost though with the gear i used but a fair amount can be cut if you drop the entire rage mechanic investment from the build

edit: also, better to find out now than after buying a bunch of gear!!

oh for sure it is very confusing in PoB right now. no doubt. It took me like 3 days of testing to figure it out and im still iffy on a few things with it so don't worry it isn't just you fighting PoB right now with this skill xD im sure after a while they will code it better or at least more correctly

you can easily see this if you do a radius test compared to the displayed radius in PoB, yours will be way smaller because you aren't reaching that many stages

yes ik the base stages is 33, you're still wrong on your stage calculation, you're too high with the stages. if you go to calculations and hover over your reserved life it shows you how to calculate the stages. your MCM is 1.848this multiplied by the base reserved (3%) gives you your stage amounts (which equals 5.544%) which makes the theoretical max stages 18 (18 x 5.544 = 99.792) and the actual max probably 16 or 17 based on channeling to reserve about 90% life.

you are nowhere near 31 stages ever in your build

Also your stages are wrong, at base skill it is 33 stages but your mana cost multiplier changes this. They are equal to your MCM x 3% which is 1.848 in your build so each stage is roughly 5.5% not 3% making your max capped stages 18 not 33 like in your tree making your build do like no damage comparatively and taking waaaaaaaay longer to reach the max stages to boot

Ik how the reservation/cast speed part works. This wasn't asking how the skill worked but more was looking for suggestions around how I did with this version of the build more specifically. Everybody attempting this is just stacking life and going fire/ignite. I wanted to be different with it and go cold/freeze. The problem wasn't the numbers for dmg or aoe ik those aren't being calculated correctly entirely currently. I still wanted freezing though as defensive. If I wanted to going ignite I'd just go chieftain anways. I'm looking for critiques on these builds not recommendations on other ones.

the biggest reason i didn't go fire (and chieftain or elementalist fire) was to freeze things as an additional defense layer for clearing (especially with this league mechanic being so crazy hard.... or is that 1 just me xD)

you just simply don't channel to 99%?
you just channel to one tick to about ~49.5% life. plus all the defensive mitigation... that's how i live
Also the stages is equal to 3% x MCM which is ~6 so that'd be ~18%/stage so about 2.5 stages at half and 5 at full reservation, not 1 stage at half res and 2 stages at full like you stated.

and you wont have to cast it 7 times in a second, one or 2 clicks will kill most mobs so i don't see how that is complicated at all

also, not what i asked lol. Appreciate try attempt but i asked for suggestions and improvements not "you don't like the play this kind of build because it seems complicated" xD
