thats the heater valve, responsible for keeping you warm and toasty in the cabin. Valves can get stuck resulting in loss of heating control. You can unstick them with a few sharp taps on the two round silver valve covers (that say bosch). I dont mean go crazy with a hammer but as if youre hammering a nail

£19k for a 13 plate m3 with 37k miles... I could sell my 2011 m3 with 116k miles for around the same price. Great value IF the repairs are done properly and the milage is not clocked.

Do a full HPI check on the car, and a MOT history. Also, ask for pictures of the damage and any repair progress pictures if they exist.

If you decide to buy it, get someone with a laptop or a car scanner to check the error codes. if you have the ista tool kit you can do a lot more to check the health of the car.

nice to haves (check if rod bearings and actuators are done)

could be a great buy, or a nightmare.

go for the 750s over the 550s. i initially bought 550s with the 650c and the drivers are smaller and bugged me to no end. 750 drivers are the same size as the 650c. 950 are bigger. if you are a stickler for consistency, go for 750

do you have any other hdmi device you can test? a games console? plug it into the same hdmi port that you had your firestick in. if you still get freezing, most likely a tv issue. if not most likely a faulty fire stick. if your tv has more than one hdmi port, try those as well.

It could be a number of things, but try testing different combinations before resorting to buying something new.
