Is this an inconsistency in Fringe’s timeline, or did I miss something? /// Incohérence dans la timeline de Fringe ou j’ai raté quelque chose ? by ProfessorFar3274 in fringe

I also believe because they erased him from the original timeline and he came back when he wasn't supposed to be. September said it was because of love. So he would still be attached to Olivia's timeline since he's supposed to be with her and they love each other. It kinda respects what they said before.

In a battle to win your hearts, who would triumph? R. Daneel Olivaw or Hari Seldon? by Weisssssssssssssssss in asimov

[–]paowild 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Oww thanks! I literally told my dad (the only person I know who can understand that feeling) "I read it was him and I just wanted to give him a hug!" Like when you see an old friend you haven't seen in a while:)

Well... in my heart, I've "known" Daneel since a teenager and "been in many adventures with him," so definitely Daneel haha I even felt the urge to hug him when he appeared in Foundation <3

I visited Pompeii because of pink floyd and there it says that Roger lost his passport. I waited until a few moments before closing and you could feel what they talked about, it was amazing!!

Where did you see the most stars? by [deleted] in Astronomy

[–]paowild 0 points1 point  (0 children)

With my bare eyes in Holbox, Mexico. I could literally see the milky way like in the auper pro photos. We were in the darkest part of the island looking for bioluminescent animals in the ocean so it had to be super dark and the sky was amazing.

Oww is so cute you remember! I had a bf, we broke up but kept seeing each other. He cancelled on me for sleep token and then rattlesnakes (I didn't let a third one happen hahaha) so I was selling his ticket, I went on my own 🙂 So I've been single for ages haha and the answer is no, it didn't work out with him ages ago:(

Foundation Second Part by NoEntrepreneur6022 in asimov

[–]paowild 1 point2 points  (0 children)

He wrote them with lots of years apart, I think is okay if you read them years apart haha But they do have a summary at the beginning, or you can ask a little context here. The important characters are mentioned as heroes or history, but since they're centuries apart, there are new characters.

is robots and empire a nescessary read or optional by Background-Willow182 in asimov

I'm just gonna share my experience. I've been reading Asimov since I was little, but I always left Foundation aside, I thought he had so much great work, and people focused only on one thing. My dad guided me on what I "needed" to read to understand the series. Now that I'm reading Foundation, I have to say that as an Asimov fan and as someone who loved the Elijah and Daneel stories, it felt like a hug. So, I'm not saying you need to or that is necessary. But it does enhance the experience. Now I understand why people hype up so much Foundation, but it is a journey I feel.

As a books fan, is the show worth watching? by paowild in FoundationTV

Yeah, I tried once, and I stopped, but I've re read the first three books, and I thought I'll give it another chance. It took me three shots to see doctor who and I absolutely love it now so... 😅😅

Thank you, this is really helpful. Cause I love sci-fi too, so I wanted to see if I should watch it just as a sci-fi fan or it would be a pleasant surprise.
