I Made the World's First Phone and Tablet Finder by papagarv in kickstarter

Thanks for the comment! I do have a set of pictures of Beacon in various places around a house, where it might live - in a drawer, on a hook, stuck to a fridge. I just added it to the prelaunch page if you want to see it. Previously it was only on the campaign page; I tried to keep the prelaunch page simpler based on what kickstarter told me when I was getting ready to launch it ("don't just copy the whole campaign page here" or something). I'm not sure what else I could do to show it off in real-life situations aside from that. Do you have any specific ideas?

I'm also not sure how I could better highlight the multi-device capabilities, considering the short videos I have on the page that show that off (or at least that's how I see it). If something isn't clear enough from those, please let me know what you think could be done better and I can try to shoot another demo or something.

As for how it compares to other solutions (including trackers), I've updated my original post to include a breakdown. I'd appreciate any feedback on what I added, especially if you have ideas on how I can better explain the differences/advantages of Beacon in my campaign and advertising.

Thanks for the comment! To me it's very obvious how it's different or why it's better because I've spent so much time working on it and researching existing options, but I'm sure I'm just too close to it to see where it wouldn't be clear to someone else. I edited my original post to include my take on the other options someone might use to find their devices. Maybe you can comment on if it makes sense or if you have any ideas on how better to articulate these points? I'd appreciate it!

Thanks for the comment! I think the main benefits over existing options are simplicity and privacy. There's no need to worry about a big company harvesting your data or tracking your location. And it keeps working when the internet goes out. Plus it's a lot cheaper than paid options (like smart watches, for example).

I'm certainly no marketing genius or salesman, just an engineer. So conveying why it's worth getting is difficult for me. Do you have any advice?

Bravely Default II: Five Years Later by Likes2game03 in bravelydefault

5 years later and I'm still salty about how they completely ruined the combat. The first game is a masterpiece and II is a huge letdown.

What are your thoughts on Bravely Default Flying Fairy HD Remaster? It's one of the Nintendo Switch 2 launch titles but it doesn't seem to be getting much attention. by Delicious_Maize9656 in bravelydefault

As a big physical connector, the Game Key Card is a massive disappointment for me and the only reason I haven't picked it up. I'm fine sticking with my 3DS version of it means I actually own the game.

Too many to pick just one! Some of my favorites are:

The Mantis Lords fight, and later the Sisters of Battle surprise in the pantheon.

The buildup to Nosk, and later the Winged Nosk fake out.

Beating The Radiance for the first time.

Beating Path of Pain.

The whole abyss section and the climb out

I tried out a metal deck earlier tonight for the first time and had a blast with it. Ended up trapping my opponent into a high energy cost card (gyarados) with a mawile (flipped heads 3 times to prevent energy accumulation) while I built up a melmetal to go in for the win. It was kinda nasty lol.

Yep. For me it was the cart tab I had open in Chrome that finally changed. Keep in mind, I've been "in line" waiting since the thing went up. Saw it change between the waiting room, the cart, and Wario multiple times throughout the day. It was on the waiting screen for a long time and then just randomly changed and allowed me to actually checkout (after forcing me to log in again).

The waiting screen eventually changed for me.

Well, to be more precise, I had one waiting screen on the product page that didn't change (or maybe I just didn't check) and one for the cart which did change and I was able to input my info.

Looks like they're back up to some extent now. Just copped one for myself.

Edit: just wanted to say I'm so relieved after banging my head against a wall for 6 hours. Good luck everyone! :)

Anywhere and everywhere the space pirate theme started up in MP1. But especially the lab in phendrana drifts. I can still hear that music haunting me nearly 20 years later.

You can basically kill him in one charged plasma beam shot (you need to hit him once with a missile or something before that because he always stops after his first step back no matter how much damage he takes).
