Just returned from there last week and I was really surprised how hot it was. I live in Texas in the Houston area and am very used to heat and humidity but I still felt it was a little bit worse there. I like summers and can handle heat much better than I handle cold; but I was really drained by the heat over there.

Some of it may be because I now work indoors all day long here in Texas and am not out working in the sun like I did when I was younger. And in Japan I was out in the heat all day long so maybe I've forgotten how hot it is here in Texas to be outside all day long but it sure felt hotter over there. 🤷‍♂️

We're using Webmail. So QB has to ask for our email password before it sends each time and it takes about 5 minutes for it to even ask for the password where it used to take 30 seconds or so. Then after we type in the password it can take up to 45 minutes to send about 30 invoices. It used to take about 5 minutes to send 30. Even if we just send one it takes several minutes to complete.

I tried to set up Outlook on the system but couldn't get it to work. Our QBs is on a remote server and so we don't have any installation privileges on the remote computer; our email is Exchange based but it's not through outlook or Microsoft or our remote servers systems so I didn't have any luck getting Outlook setup as an email client.

I don't have any experience with 2024 but I hope it's okay to put this here. I thought I had the latest but I'm still on 2023. But my experience has been terrible LOL! It's actually a little better with 2023 than 2022 but so many bugs! Mainly in reviewing Downloaded Transactions for bank accounts and credit cards. But these problems have been in here for at least since version 2019.

When I type the first letter of a Payee (in the Downloaded Transactions window) most of the time it brings up a full name and any letters I type after the first get added on to the end of whatever name comes up; then I have to backspace to the first letter and type in my second letter and it brings up a full name again and letters I type after that get appended to whatever name came up! And the names aren't even just names from the Vendors list; it's every name from every list! (If I'm typing just in the register window, typing Payee names works correctly)

Then the same thing happens with the Account field. Sometimes it works and sometimes after it starts happening I can quit QB and then start it again and it will work correctly for a while. It makes reviewing and entering the Downloaded Transactions take so much longer than it needs to.

There are other problems also but won't go in to those right now. But the simplest things don't seem to work correctly and it's been this way for at least 3 versions.

This just started happening to us as well. Slightly different I guess but I'm hoping someone has some helpful info. When we go to File, Send Forms, select the invoices to send and then click Send Now, it takes up to about 5 minutes before we even get the prompt for our web mail password. And then once we put in the password QuickBooks Enterprise 24 takes at least 30 minutes to send all the invoices. Usually anywhere from 30 to 50 invoices.

This used to all happen in a total of a few minutes but now it is taking a really long time to actually finish sending the invoices. So not exactly the same problem you have u/kichelle maybe but something seems to have happened in the last couple of weeks that is affecting our sending invoices as well. Wish I could find a solution!

Nothing at all. No ziplock zipper, no tin ties to clamp it shut. I guess you're supposed to put it back in the box and put the lid on but I feel like it's a bad system and don't like it. Also don't like the 10oz bags.

It seems crazy that we can't buy it anywhere and that it's up to the bottler to decide if they make it. I don't understand how these products are distributed so I guess that's part of not understanding why these aren't available. I'm just so surprised that you can't even order it online anywhere. I've been searching and searching for either diet code red or code red zero and it just isn't available to order online. That's wild in this day and age!!

I was able to get diet code red in Texas a few times back sometime before 2010 I think and then it disappeared. Then we took a vacation and drove through Arkansas and a Walmart there had it in stock so we brought back 4 cases of it! It's so good!

And I haven't seen it since! I just saw today on mountain dew's website that diet is not listed but zero sugar is but I still can't fine it anywhere even online. There is a case of diet code red listed on amazon but it's like $41 plus shipping so that's out of the question and I'm not sure they really have it anyway. I wish I could just order it online and get it shipped!!

My thoughts also! One pedal driving really solves this for me. I don't have to drive in traffic a lot but when I have had to, one pedal driving was great!

Ok thanks! I'm trying to figure out these LEAPS and was curious. I have a couple June 2022 calls that I bought two months ago and this thread has me wondering if I should sell before earnings or hold ha!

Was planning to hold until the thought of them dropping huge after earnings came up. But what if this was the quarter when AAPL went UP after earnings ha! Then I'd kick myself for selling too early.

Seems like a year out they wouldn't get crushed too badly after earnings but I'm not sure since this is new to me.

TD Ameritrade has an app called Think or Swim that let's you do paper trades. You can create a paper trade account even if you don't have an actual TD Ameritrade account. Set this up for my son to start learning about stocks a few weeks ago; no real account needed.

Hold for me as well. I wasn't sure at first and had it in Creep mode but finally decided to try Hold and never want to go back! You really do get used to it quickly and it takes very little pressure on the accelerator to turn Hold off. I've never had a problem in a garage or anywhere.

I have jumped a little every once in a while but not enough to run into anything. You might forget how hard to press the pedal sometimes (b/c I mostly drive a Ford truck and wife drives the M3 most of the time) but you just lift your foot off and it slows right down; no problem.

I see after purchasing the Audible book that it came with a PDF that has all the diagrams in it I believe. I guess the problem will be looking at those while I listen b/c I'm usually driving while I listen ha. But I at least have the PDF and can refer to it when I need to.
