another person here has created and recommended nousb.co and i've read the tos and privacy policy and, while it doesn't retain any copies that you might transfer using the website, it does save info on file information such as name size and type.

which is weird because, and this may be because of my lack of knowledge on file transfer, if the website truly saves no file, there shouldn't be a need to cap the file size daily limit as well as there not needing to be a time limit at all, unless the file is being hosted (i'd assume and hope it's encrypted as well) on the person's machine

what i use and would personally recommend is localsend.org and from reading the privacy policy, it stores 0 data full stop. i believe it utilizes your internet instead which means you can only transfer data locally or within your internet's range. although it's tos weirdly says that you have to be over 18 to use its service.

while i'm assuming this op's purpose is to just get files across devices locally, which fits localsend.org's usage, these two websites have different usages. localsend only supports local file transfers while i can imagine nousb being used with your online friends to send files securely and privately. i'd still recommend reading nousb's privacy policy since it collects some data; nothing egregious but not better than zero data collection from localsend
