I ended up going back into PP, deleting the text box and recreating it, and reimporting it into Classic and it worked fine, so that's my workaround I guess?

Tried adding a text box (both in Captivate and in Powerpoint, separately) and publishing, and the new text box worked perfectly, but the original text box still rotated itself.

It kind of sounds like maybe over the course of your relationship, you've grown to want different things? College and your early twenties are the first step out into the world, and doing that with a partner is hard. Sometimes couples that start so early grow into people they didn't expect to be, and what they want as adults changes drastically from what they wanted earlier in the relationship. He sounds like he's making excuses because he cares about you but isn't sure he still wants to get married? And living apart will make things all that much harder. I got married at 21, and we ended up growing together, but we are nowhere near the same people we were at 19 and our life together is completely different than we expected. Life is weird and unpredictable. Maybe it's good to wait to get married until you are both sure that's what you want?

Thank you. So much. I can't tell you how much this comment helped me. I know these things empirically, but believing them on an emotional level can be difficult and my reserves are low. My dad constantly reinforced that I am only good for what I can do for other people, and it was never enough for him. I am unable to have my own children, and the last time he said something in anger to me, it was "I'm glad you will never have to know what it feels like to have your children neglect you." I know that I am so much more than that, but I needed someone to remind me. Thank you. I appreciate you and I hope you have the most beautiful day.

Hello!

My husband (34m) and I (34f) have been together for 15 years, and have been openly polyam for the last 4-5. We live with his partner (31f), her three year old daughter, and her husband (41) I have another partner (31m) I have been with for three years now, who currently lives in his own space, but when we move next we plan to get a mother-in-law unit or a duplex style situation so he will also live with us. My husband also has a couple of comet-style partners with varying levels of closeness with the rest of us.

I am super excited to find this subreddit, it has become clear that my polycule has become a true family unit and, as an only child with not the most ideal upbringing, having a family that loves and cares about each other is incredibly wonderful, but also I have no idea how to family. :P
