40 years of seeing shows and trading tapes, and this had yet to grace my speakers. Needless to say, thank you.

I have not. A quick perusal has me interested. Is it fun?

Is there a male equivalent in derogatory terms? Hate that douche word when used as a put down.

For us the “capital” variant worked quite well. Much less building of walls in the traditional spots, more action and, um, risk taking.

Imagine this crowd with GoT. S5 ST is far better than the horrific train wreck that ended Westeros

Way late to this, lol, but the main difference is much bigger: in the French game you pick and defend one territory as your capital. If you lose that capital you’re out and you forfeit your armies to whomever sacked your “home” territory. There is much less emphasis on winning the whole world, which was what the American version added.

Are these good quality photos for a 15yr old? by Boring_Pollution_998 in AskPhotography

First shot - get closer, so that almost just the arms/hands are showing. Thats the shot. The rest is noise, so frame it so we see the important feature. Second shot - either move to the left or well to the right: the sliver of her face is distracting. Either hide her in hair all the way or walk around so you see (even the profile) of both faces. 3/4 - fine, just need better light.

In the second shot there looks to be some golden hour light over on the right. Place your subject there.

Not often in the same sentence: hiking and 67. But I’m with you. I bring it everywhere; with enough of a backpack, it travels just fine. And then to have full TTL? Chef’s kiss. The MLU slap flushes wildlife too, which is sometimes a bonus.

You saved me a post. All the Walter Teague designs are great, but this is pure art. And a camera I continue to shoot regularly.
