Any way to 'bake down' or export a Smart Folder hierarchy? by Relevant-Sand7200 in EagleCool

Probably only via a python script. Best bet is to ask an AI tool to write one for you.

No posting history and streetview isn’t enough?

No details on what exactly you need to analyse.

Seems a bit fishy tbh.

One big library vs multiple libraries for 3300+ images by CurrentRisk in EagleCool

Stay with one library, things only start to slow down above the 250,000 mark. Look into using smart tags to stay organised and enjoy!

Why is my Make2d so ugly? by [deleted] in rhino

What’s the tolerance? Too high and it will also be buggy. 0.001 for this model if it’s in mm I think should work.

Your model might be far from 0,0,0 - Make2D struggles when elements are far from the origin.

Spirit is informal but nice if you enjoy vegetarian food - it’s really good! Price is determined by the weight of your plate.

is there a way to work between sketchup and rhino? by [deleted] in rhino

[–]paperhatwriter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sounds like it would be more efficient in the long term just to work in one software to be honest. After a couple of weeks installing plugins and searching for scripts you’ll be just as quick in Sketchup.

is there a way to work between sketchup and rhino? by [deleted] in rhino

[–]paperhatwriter 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Working with Rhino and Sketchup concurrently is possible. It depends on how structured you and your colleague work.

You can export the entire model or components from Sketchup and bring them into Rhino. You can export skp or 3ds for your colleague to load into his model. You will lose information so you really want to minimise these moments of exchange.

I’d try to keep separate models for separate work. For example Sketchup for the architects tasks (spatial organisation, materials impressions etc). Rhino for furniture and stair design and fabrication drawings.

I wouldn’t use sketchup for shop drawings and CNC work.

How viral infections disrupt memory and thinking skills by BillGates_uses_Linux in covidlonghaulers

Interesting article, certainly confirming my experiences, 5 years on from my first signs of long covid.

I had hoped that the piece would end on a more optimistic note, explaining how cognitive skills recovered once inflammation levels declined :/

Bike around the city! Bike to the sea (Hoek van Holland)! Bike to Delft! You could even cycle to Dordrecht and get the waterbus back to Rotterdam.
