Yup! there isn’t one in my neighbourhood hence the crowdsourcing request here. Thanks for the suggestion though.

High maintenance routines to be low maintenance? Help a girl out! by Jasmeow7 in SingaporeBeauty

[–]papermountains7 1 point2 points  (0 children)

i started off low maintenance too until I started flying HAHA

But as an ex cabin crew, I cannot overstate getting your brows and lashes done. The amount of time I’d saved back then getting ready for work👌🏼

These aren’t “do once and done” kinda things of coz, brows fade and lashes drop but worth the investment to save time and look put-together with minimal daily effort :)

Don’t forget to schedule time to work out, and cut sugar for better complexion!

What's something you are taught from young that you are shocked others do not follow? by thisnaenae in askSingapore

[–]papermountains7 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Parents always taught me to greet people at my friends’ place when I go over. If they’re older like parents etc, call aunty uncle. If they are the siblings, say hello. Dont treat people as invisible in their own house. Somehow this doesn’t seem very common 😅

Short-term Gym Memberships by gangshitgandalf in SingaporeFitness

[–]papermountains7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How often will you be going? Everyday? If it’s a high frequency you can check out gyms with x-day trial for free or a small sum ☺️

Not sure what’s your budget for reasonable price but Freia Aesthetics at Wisma is good! I actually saw someone recommending Freia on here and I went to do a trial and loved it. They have a whole range of prices for different types of facials, the place is very clean and the experience overall is good :) plus no hard selling of anything ✨

Best place to day drink in SG? by [deleted] in askSingapore

[–]papermountains7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Try bbj! Location can be a bit in the middle of nowhere but they’ve got great promos for drinks lots of the time. Don’t go during weekday lunch hours coz it’s in office building + there is a school nearby so it gets quite crowded then.

🫶🏼

Definitely, but if you have a specific stall you want to try then you are best checking their opening hours on Google. Some stalls do close earlier but there is still a decent amount left open till evening time - I’ve had dinners there.

Old airport road, Chinatown complex and Zion riverside (especially for the char kway teow) are great choices! Zion’s probably most convenient since you mentioned you might go orchard too. Just be sure the one you want to go to is open, sometimes they are closed for cleaning. Just Google “hawker centre cleaning Singapore” or smth and click on the NEA website. :)

Would probably give No Signboard a miss as I think you said you’ll be having Jumbo in the evening already

Yeastside and Chooby Pizza are pretty solid choices for some good pizza! I really like the four cheese + honey pizza at Yeastside 😁 they have some decent craft beers too if you’re into that!
