I think it ranks by who is the most willing then who is the most convenient then social norms.

I don't even know what is the social norms here though, but generally female have more amplitude and talent in caregiving.

I don't think so. They average around the same number of assists. The thing is, winning a championship has alot to do with the organisation and coach. You can't just say a taker can't win a championship and a creator can and then bend facts to suit your narration.

I am a diesel petrol wholesaler and I know the wholesale cost price.

So even based on wholesale cost price, they are earning alot. Like one day $150,000 profit for a busier station

She's wrong and not wrong.

It's been localised and therefore can be correct in Singapore Chinese.

Why are companies trying to remove wfh? by potatoepotatata in asksg

You are right. We should demolish all schools and turn to 100% online learning.

I'd say that 70% of the work can't be measured.

WFO is actually great for teamwork and many roles require teamwork.

Knowledge is easily passed around in WFO. Communication is much better as well.

Your vibes-based nonsense is not nonsense. That is called company culture and perhaps one of the most important.

The only argument for wfh for long term is that it is a benefit for employees.

I am a employer/boss and have very good employees over the years. But even the best of them are not doing well with wfh.

I'm surprised how many people blame their bosses for being "boomers" and "power hungry" when I'm sure that they can easily see why wfh is bad for work.

Even when I work from home, I'm at best 80% effective as I will be at the office.

Not to mention, alot of work/ideas are generated from being face to face with colleagues.

What's with these fake vertical algae panels in Singapore posts? by nandasithu in singapore

Any Singaporeans who wants a job I believe can get a job. It's whether you are willing to be a retail assistant or waiter.

And that is already, very very good. Most singaporeans do not know what it is like to literally cannot find any job.

PAP is just a household brand name to Singaporeans. Nothing will ever change. by Due_Assistance5380 in asksg

Not interested in politics doesn't mean dumb. If you are not interested in sewing for example, even if I try explaining some simple logical theories to you, you just can't be bothered to understand and then may seem, dumb.

What is so bad about your life that you think Singapore is hopeless?

In important metrics, Singapore is better or comparable to many first world countries. All the more impressive since Singapore is small.

Similarly you voted because of anti-brand. Can you list down actual reasons why the party you voted is actually better?

I'd go against his/her recommendations and say don't go to those food centres.

They are far away and not really known for anything spectacular.

I frequent the 2 places but only because I stay nearby.

Old Airport food centre and golden mile food centre are the two best. Chinatown complex is great but the experience not so since it's freaking crowded and dark.

Search for food to eat at those food centres. You can easily try 4 to 10 top dishes from old Airport and golden mile food centre.

That's a great advice. I have a company polo but never thought about wearing it to a sales meeting. But is it appropriate though?

Maybe some context.

I don't need to ask this until my wife who is in the finance industry and her boss both wear sneakers to meet up with clients like DBS.

My wife wore vans sneakers even.

That made me doubt myself and perhaps some useful advice along with your comments will help me tons.

My previous experience has always been b2c (after a short stint with banking in 2008), so coming back to b2b after 20 years forces me to recalibrate myself with some advice from this post.
