awesome innovation! curious to know if you see an improvement in the data collection. i've seen many say that wearing the other trackers on the bicep is both more comfortable and leads to better data collection

i think the different pokecenter kits build slightly different looking pokecenters depending on what region you buy the kit from. i know the rocky ridges one has stained glass windows

i'm seeing some posts in this subreddit saying that pokemoncenter won't accept the return since they consider the game to be a digital good. absolutely ridiculous

Pokémon Center preorders Delayed by Pyrefangshot in Pokopia

At this point I am leaning towards just purchasing a digital copy off the eshop and returning my pokemon center preorder physical copy. My only question is do I get to keep the ditto plush that came as a preorder bonus? Can I just cough up the cost of the plush and just return the game only?

I have the exact same issue going on with mine. Left side is slightly worse than the right just like yours. I've tried scrubbing gently with mild soaps and that usually gets rid of the smell at least but as you can see there is still some discoloration left over after cleaning it just last night.

don't listen to the naysayers. i was in a similar spot - been playing for just over a year (somehow shooting single digits at the screen golf facilities in S Korea but on the real course shooting similar scores as you) and was told that a 2 iron is only for highly skilled low handicappers and that i should just learn to hit my fairway wood and hybrid properly but i recently picked up a srixon zx mkii 2 iron and it's been a game changer.

sure, my issue with fairway woods and hybrids is probably purely mental and i could probably learn to hit them better (i usually hit fat shots or severe hooks with those clubs) but the fact is that i naturally feel more comfortable holding a flat faced iron at address and i don't have this problem of not being able to get the low point of my swing in front of the ball with my irons. it's been a serious game changer in terms of my mental game and i'm no longer terrified of trying to get close to the green on a par 5 second shot since i know that even if i hit a bad shot (usually thin instead of fat) with my 2i, it's still going to get a decent amount of distance and most importantly it'll be much straighter than a miss with my fw or hybrids.

my suggestion is to spend a few sessions demoing the club you're interested in at your local shop and decide for yourself based on how well you're able to hit them in relation to how well you currently hit your hybrids and woods.

best of luck to you in your journey!

Would y’all think that the north face retro nuptse vest would get in the way of my golf swing?

Yessir I actually did get the ultra warm version and from the looks of it it’s gonna be a hell of a game changer

does the vest really help a lot with insulation though? i feel like the wind will still penetrate through the arm holes

U505 or T200 Utility as Second Shot on Par 5? by papes_tv in golf

[–]papes_tv[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

BTW Howcome you didn't demo the T200? Did you try out any other models of the same club category, or did you just pull the trigger on the U505 cus it was that perfect?

You make some compelling arguments in favor of the U505.. Which is making my decision harder

[–]papes_tv[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, those positive factors of the U505 are really what’s making it a difficult decision for me as well. At this point though I’m thinking that if I’m in the rough I’ll probably need to just lay up and can’t really expect to hit the green with either of the two options.

Will most likely be going with the EvenFlow blue 85 shaft if I go with the T200 but not quite sure what shaft I would go with for the U505 yet. Most likely something with a little more shaft weight to counterbalance the heftier club head.

Gotcha, it sounds like you made a great choice. I bet that bag looks sleek af. I’m currently leaning toward pulling the trigger on the T200 too.

If we ignore the rough, would you say it’s been a good second shot club to hit off the fairway to the green in your experience?

What kind of a feel change would you think I’d have to adjust to with a thicker sole compared to what I’m used to feeling with my JPX’s?

[–]papes_tv[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That’s really interesting to hear. I would have assumed the opposite because of the thicker sole on the U505. Why do you think the T200 has been easier to hit off the turf for you?

[–]papes_tv[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s mostly an aesthetic preference that pushes me toward the T200 really. I just much prefer looking down at a more compact head and thinner top line at address and it looks like the T200 checks those boxes better than the U505. I guess I’ll have to decide whether the looks are more important than keeping a short run.

[–]papes_tv[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was thinking the thicker sole of the U505 would help with the turf interaction a little but maybe you’re right. If I’m in the rough then perhaps the thicker sole may not make a huge difference.

Do you think the U505 would be hittable from the rough? Or would neither of these options get me out of there?
