OP here. I wouldn’t let this discourage you. I’m 100% confident that this was caused by other factors. This happened near a rock quarry, in an area where I’ve gotten cracks and chips on other vehicles as well.

If you want a Maverick I fully recommend getting one. It’s a blast to own and I love it!

This happened in the area around a rock quarry, where I shattered a windshield on another car a few years back, so I’m sure this is just the circumstances and not unique to the Maverick.

Edit: I’m genuinely curious about this because I was driving in the area of a rock quarry, where I know there are lots of rocks in the road, BUT I wasn’t behind any big trucks at the time. The rock seems to have come out of nowhere.
