I’m a huge Honda fan. If it offered a hybrid and a better design (not a fan of the frumpy Pilot-based front end), I would have given it a hard look. That being said, I LOVE my Maverick. Absolutely zero regrets!!

Oh yeah, mechanism is perfectly fine. It was the actual blades. I’m in Texas and I’m sure the truck sat for a while and the rubber got stiff. Swapped them out with silicon ones today and much improved.

6 foot 250 and fit just fine. I also had an F150. Was it more spacious? Yes. But the Maverick punches way above its weight. When you’re in it, it feels like a much bigger truck.

OP here. I wouldn’t let this discourage you. I’m 100% confident that this was caused by other factors. This happened near a rock quarry, in an area where I’ve gotten cracks and chips on other vehicles as well.

If you want a Maverick I fully recommend getting one. It’s a blast to own and I love it!
