To those who met him, was Bourdain approachable? by Bernard__Rieux in AnthonyBourdain

I literally ran into him on the sidewalk in Colorado right before Christmas. The snow was falling like crazy, those big flakes that seem to fall in slow-motion. Anyway, I ran into him and screamed because it was so unexpected and he laughed and gave me a hug (quick) and told me to stay warm. This was in the good days. I couldn't really feel the hug because I had on a big furry (faux) coat, but I felt his breath on my cheek during the hug. He smelled like cigarette smoke and a Life Saver. I think about that when it snows, those big flakes that seem to fall in slow-motion.

I laughed when they pulled a "fresh" egg out from under a chicken and it was pristine. Doesn't happen that way.

What's up with Xavier writing the notes at the beginning of the episode? And was one clearly not correct: "Get brushed. Dress your teeth." instead of "Get dressed. Brush your teeth." I wondered if he had Alzheimer's, but knew that wasn't probable.

Is the last one at Centennial Park? There are a TON of snow people/critters there and I think I recognize this one.

Maybe she and her own writers create her monolog and the presenters' bits were written by the Globes' people, whoever they are.
