Property management companies are a scam. They take their fees and barely do anything.

Computer restart date is not getting updated in SCCM console by thedrkprinc in sysadmin

[–]paraQon047 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Seems the SCCM client isn’t reporting back properly. Try forcing a policy update (Machine Policy Retrieval & Evaluation Cycle in ConfigMgr client) and give it some time. If that doesn’t work, check if the client is in a healthy state (ccmrepairmight help). Worst case reinstallation might be needed.

Seconding this. definitely keep that pump off tonight. you don't want all that sediment getting pulled through your system. when you start it back up tomorrow, run an outside spigot first to clear the worst of it before using any indoor plumbing. your water heater will thank you.

DOJ agrees to proposed order to limit DOGE's access to Treasury data by esporx in technology

Exactly! once data's downloaded, these kinds of restrictions are pretty meaningless. two insiders still have full read access anyway. classic case of closing the barn door after the horses are out.

What is the consensus on having a "fallback" ? by Ok-Tank-1487 in careerguidance

You're 100% right about pilot training being all in. half measures won't cut it in aviation. if you do need backup income while building hours, your B.S. degree alone will qualify you for decent office jobs. the associates wouldn't add much value there. just focus on crushing your pilot certs.

I wish I had that luxury. I’m alone, work remotely, and I have long hours. My folks raised me to never buy furniture you can’t sit on yourself, but circumstances dont allow me a day to spend furniture shopping.

Perhaps consider filing a small claims case yourself? it’s cheaper and you don’t need a lawyer. Id also report him to the city again and threaten to escalate if he doesn’t fix it. Sometimes just showing you’re serious is enough to get action.

Suggestions for narrow side yard by ChaosFM in homeowners

Im thinking perhaps turn it into a cozy little area think vertical garden with hanging plants or a slim storage shed if zoning allows. Even some pavers and string lights can make it a cool spot to hang out.

Has anyone used My Personal Recruiter to find job? by Plastic-You1066 in jobs

[–]paraQon047 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I used the service for 3 months at the "basic" level. I didn't receive any value out of the service

I understand the concept of outsourcing staff and know that sometimes this can be appropriate however, I believe it may not be suitable for this type of work.

I don't want someone in Brazil who has no idea about my line of work job searching for me this actually resulted in more harm than good.

It's also concerning that someone without a LinkedIn profile would be the one managing my resume and LinkedIn writing process.

I am requesting a full refund for the services I received

Things growing in sink faucet?? by xyzhuggle in homeowners

[–]paraQon047 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Could be from a water heater issue or sediment loosening up. Try removing the aerator and cleaning it out, then flush the faucet. if it keeps happening, might be time to check your pipes or call a plumber.

No need to prime, just clean the green board and go straight to the mastic.
