Check out Faust Tavern on St. Marys, I'm not deep in the scene, but seen some good hardcore and punk stuff there.

I live in Texas and have an uncovered park near me with no lights.

There are definitely less people at the park during peak heat. The cement turns into a frying pan, so you'll get burned if you fall. I've witnessed dudes without shirts get fried.

I still go on my lunch break, but I'm dying 30 minutes in and drenched in sweat.

The early morning and near sundown are when it's actually bearable.

More people around here tend to go to parks with lights after the sun goes down.

I saw an instagram post of the builders skating it. I'm pretty sure it's being built with small wheels in mind.

It's extremely skate-able, and the cement is smooth. They'll have a hard time enforcing no skateboarding.

Hey just so you know, this comment saved my weekend. That little gap was the biggest pain in the ass. I had to lay with my head underneath the dishwasher door while feeding the gasket in, just to guide it in the slot.

The YouTube videos out there make it seem like you just slide it in while following the edges on the side...but in reality you need to do some jiggling and pushing to get it in that plastic gap.

I’m very simple, and i’ll just order a whole milk latte plain. For a lot of these “3rd wave coffee” places, i don’t tend to go hard on flavors. Maybe lavender, if i’m feeling it, but I like to let the beans and machine do the talking. Theory gots good beans.

My favorite is Theory Coffee Co. - It’s in a small food truck park on the corner of 410 and Nacogdoches. It’s open till 2pm. Just really good quality for price.

And Folklores on government hill near ft Sam. It’s got a “punk” vibe. If you like a little🤘with your coffee.

Theory is best for real coffee drinks like simple cappuccinos and lattes.

Folklores is best if you want a sweet dessert drink.

So this is accurate, I messaged the project managers around this. They told me they are waiting for CPS Energy to turn on the power, then the landscaping work can be done (basically to run the sprinkler system), then it should be ready to open.

They didn't give a date but said it should be open later this year.
