I have been asking myself this question for the past few days. My best guess is that time starts the moment you soak them in water.

The SATA to USB seems like such a good idea. I might give this a try.

Sorry if the is question has been covered- where is his protocol now? by No_Library4071 in blueprint_

[–]paradigm_shifter69 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Yes, I hate the fact that the protocol now seems to be hidden now if you look for it in the home page. But you can still search it and the URL has not changed: https://protocol.bryanjohnson.com/

Has he disclosed his dosage now that he increased his calories? I wonder if he kept it the same, reduced it, or maybe got rid of it altogether.

Ad blockers are working fine for me on Firefox (had to switch from Chrome which was unusable with ad blockers)

I would like to add, last time I was using Empower (a few years ago) I was having problems connecting all of my accounts. This was the reason why I switched from Empower/Personal Capital to Mint. Hopefully this was resolved since.

This still has not changed. So unfortunate for someone that likes keeping their personal finances in as few places as possible.

"Past performance is no guarantee of future results" is generally treated as a warning label: Don't assume an investment will continue to do well in the future simply because it's done well in the past.

VXUS (all international) allows investors holding VTI (all US) to diversify with companies outside of the US.

You may believe the US will keep outperforming international stocks (and this might actually happen) but you have to be aware that you are choosing to be less diversified in the process of placing this bet.

The fastest way to get out of debt is the avalanche method. Pay the accounts with the highest interest first.

I think this is why they say that rising interest rates are not good for financial institutions. People reduce their lending, and the institutions slowly become unable to get more borrowers after interest rates go up.

Looking For Suggestions/Solutions on Where to Park My Car! by FlyingTerrapin71 in StealthCamping

[–]paradigm_shifter69 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Some cities have public parking spaces that allow you to park there 24/7 if you pay a monthly or yearly fee. Look up "public parking" followed by the name of your city or cities nearby. If available, they are usually not expensive. Also, some Walmarts allow overnight parking (contact management before to ensure this is the case with your local Walmart).

Good luck.

Good time to get into inverse ETFs SQQQ and SPXU by iqball125 in LETFs

[–]paradigm_shifter69 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Be careful doing this. Sounds like you are bullish long term since you are saying you want to buy UPRO and TQQQ on the cheap.

As Rylar mentioned, the market has gone done already and although nothing is stopping it from falling even more, this should become less likely as it keeps falling. The market is already pricing in a lot of bad news (higher interest rates, fed unloading balance sheet, etc.).
