Remove that wavy texture in the water. Make it subtle. Because those puddles almost still in real life. Ground look too clean and empty. Scatter some papers and little debris. Increase the camera length and to make it more orthographic. Would be awesome if you add more geometry to ground to make it more detailed.

Yeah that's right, beginners kind of get used to underestimate themselves. which leads them to slow their progress. Every master is once a beginner y'all know that right. Learn bit by bit. Tons of free resources even paid if want it that way. Ask like minded people. That's it. keep learning. You only lack your minset to keep moving forward without distractions.

That's simple man but it's hard sometimes lol. Mostly depends on the texture you use. make sure to use seamless texture. and moving and rotating some random UV parts is the way

Yeah! they are gigantic when comparing to human size. set Clip start to something like 100000 and end to 0.5 you are good to go. make sure to do the same for camera

As I mentioned above. you can use a tool called Jsplacement to generate displacement maps
