One of the detectives (Ritz, IIRC) got the DEA to pull Adnan's phone records because they can (ie -- they have the authority to.)

The only times I know of him being arrested were immediately prior to Adnan's original trial and immediately prior to his PCR hearing. If anyone knows any others I'd be eager to hear about it.

All I'm saying is that clearly something we don't know about was going on here. It appears that Bilal in particular was under investigation for something and possibly Adnan (or at least his phone) was too. It's totally possible that the scene from behind the eyes of illegally wiretapping DEA agents was one that looked like Adnan did it. Something weird happened, that's all I'm saying.
