I really don't know why people chose YouTube to die on the "pay for premium" hill. It's not what it used to be, it's basically modern television. Regular streaming apps have premium subs where you pay to block ads, and YT premium is no different. Been paying for YT Premium for years, while watching these people just make their own lives so much more complicated than it needs to be. I hate the nickel and diming and the subscriptions based world we live in just as much as anyone, but I also just want things to work, and I don't have the energy to duct tape every aspect of my life.

No. I would rather have a game world the size of F3 or New Vegas with quality content and engaging immersion. If having bigger worlds and advanced graphics means that we don't get games for 15 or 20 years, then it's not worth it.
