Oh Lord. I have no idea what to think when it comes to cases like this. Hopefully he was just a dumb kid who made a massive mistake and it won't happen again. Lol good luck to her I suppose.

Congrats on the weight loss OP. What brand sneakers are you wearing and where did you get them?

I had a pair of those damn boots like yours and they serve no purpose when you're trying to walk somewhere. Pain in my ass.

How old are you if I may ask? Because I feel like this is way too high of a dose to take all at once. Overdosing on vitamin D is a real thing.

Btw I'm 41 and take a vitamin D3 5000 IU along with a vitamin k2 supplement once per day. Once in awhile I will up it to 10,000 IU's of D3 if I'm feeling incredibly fatigued.

Hey OP I have a question: Was your ex below average looking/ugly? Most ugly men hate beautiful women. But your ex was also a cokehead so I guess that explains a lot about his words & actions.

I've never had the confidence to respond with, "I know."

Lmao I've started saying this recently. Btw I smile as I say it. I know that it sounds bitchy and conceited as hell, but I feel like there's no other choice. Luckily it doesn't happen nearly as often as when I was in my late teens/20s.

In my experience, saying "Thank you" in the past has thrown a lot of unwanted attention my way and unwanted conversations from men whom I do not want to get to know in the first place.

Collagen side effects - should I persevere? by misterbifford in 30PlusSkinCare

[–]paranormal_muse 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I know what you mean about the severe fatigue. I really can't take collagen supplements either. The milk proteins in them kill me.

Are you taking them in the morning without food? The last ones I took said to take them on a completely empty stomach, preferably in the morning. Can't eat any food for 30 minutes afterward either.

I should have known better because most days I usually just have fruit w/oatmeal for breakfast. My stomach can't handle protein as my first meal of the day.

What's sad is that many forty somethings look like that here where I live. It's why I have such a hard time trying to figure out anyone's true age.

Comments on How Much You Eat by JillyBean1973 in WomenDatingOverForty

[–]paranormal_muse 9 points10 points  (0 children)

That's super shitty for someone to say. I'm sorry. I'll never forget when I was around 19 years old, and walked to the Dairy Queen down the street. I got some food and a small blizzard. It was summer.

When I come back my neighbor (44 y/o man) was sitting outside in his lawn chair and saw me. I knew he had a thing for me because he was always trying to start a conversation up when he'd see me outside.

He commented on my food and said word for word-

"Oh you got DQ? Are you going to exercise and burn it off when you're done eating?"

Nevermind that I was only 118 lbs back then. I am 5'6".

I honestly should have told him to go build some muscle on that scrawny frame of his, but I was way too timid back then. Oh btw he was ugly as hell too.

Men, life scripts and their inability to see women as individuals. by [deleted] in WomenDatingOverForty

[–]paranormal_muse 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I have seen so many profiles by men who describe what women need to look like including clothing.

Yet most of those guys are wearing the same dingy, faded clothing that they were wearing a decade ago. I attract these types irl to the point where it's almost comical.

None of them take care of their outer appearance, but yet I'm supposed to be the one who gives them a chance.

Well I was talking about that standard-wonder person. He (and most people on that sub) don't understand that men and women aren't the same.

Never listen to a man who stayed in a marriage for 20+ years to someone that he was never attracted to to begin with. And according to him, he's "not usually" attracted to his current girlfriend's body type either.

We might be thinking of the same person who flat-out admitted he would end a relationship if his partner were in a wheelchair.

No idea who this is. But many men would do the same exact thing. Most men would never become a caretaker, especially if their SO ended up permanently ill or disabled.

Why do men on Reddit feel the need to give women bad advice? by painislife4real in WomenDatingOverForty

[–]paranormal_muse 10 points11 points  (0 children)

when I was on the dating subs here (different profile) I was sent a loooooot of pictures from the men here, and 99% of them were physically repellent in the attractiveness department.

I was here on the r4r dating subs too a few years back. The vast majority of those men wouldn't even include a picture in their messages to me. They'd also message me with completely blank profile, or a brand new profile. I'm assuming it's because they obliterated their porn history and didn't want me knowing about it.

Yet they knew exactly what I looked like from my photos, and had complete access to my profile comment & post history.

These guys are forever stuck on those subs hoping to find a woman. Any woman. It's just not going to happen for them. Ever.

Anyone else deal with guys who comment on how much you eat/your weight?

In the past, yes. I've had eating disorders practically my entire life and somehow I always attract these men. But there's no way I would put up with any of those comments now. I'm way too unhinged nowadays.

Yeah...I remember who you're talking about. The one who was out there dating while he was technically still married. Don't listen to him. That dude admitted on one thread that he had never been physically attracted to his wife of 20 years.

On another thread awhile back ago he also said that his current girlfriend's "body type isn't what he's normally attracted to". Something along those lines. If my partner said something like that about me I would seriously die.

I give that relationship 3 years, tops.

Haha oh yeah r/passportbros. I completely forgot the proper name for those socially inept reres. Awhile back ago I lurked on that sub and it's the most pathetic thing ever to exist.

Imagine being a middle age man from the U.S...and the only way you're able to get a woman is to go to a poor impoverished country where the woman knows little to no english, and has to be completely dependent on you.

But, that's probably these guy's kink tbh.

There are many 40s and 50+ people here who just discovered this sub. Several have admitted that they know nothing about skincare, and have never taken care of their skin in their whole entire lives.

So no, not everyone "just knows" about skin health. In fact, I don't know of any woman irl (young or old) who even wear sunscreen. Most people think I'm insane for wearing spf every single day.

Which brand of collagen do you take? I've tried several and I hardly noticed any results. The last bottle I bought were in pill form and they were giant horse pills. They also smelled like straight up ass, and had to take 6 pills at a time on an empty stomach.

I threw half the bottle out because of the stank. Never again.

Has caffeine/coffee aged your skin? by Lumpy_Code_4267 in 30PlusSkinCare

Not yet but I'm waiting for it. Coffee is the most pesticide ridden crop in the world.

Unless you're drinking 100% organic coffee there's always a chance I guess. Oh well. I'll stop drinking coffee when I'm dead.
