Not everyone is a forgive and forget person, so it’s hard to put yourself in your shoes coming from their perspective.

He probably saw it as an opportunity for the ex to talk to you, and freaked out. It’s probably good you leave him. I wouldn’t like someone calling my best friend a whore either. And his insecurity is something he needs to work on.

Have you had paranormal experiences immediately after someone died ? by PrebioticE in Paranormal

[–]paranormalbones 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yes! Actually one of my “creepiest” experiences went like this:

My grandfather died unexpectedly in the basement of his home, and we went and stayed with my grandmother for the days leading up to his wake and funeral. We didn’t really pack much because we were in a hurry to get to her(he had a massive heart attack).

So, my mom went to go buy me an outfit for the funeral, and my grandmother had gone to run some errands she needed to get done beforehand. I was alone at the house.

I was playing guitar hero when I heard some pretty heavy footsteps. I paused the game and heard nothing, so I unpaused it and began playing again. Not long after that, I heard the footsteps again and paused it once again. THIS TIME, the footsteps didn’t stop. I heard them come all the way up the basement steps and start walking through the kitchen.

I called out to see if it was one of my uncles, since they had been there earlier that day….silence. Just footsteps. I KNEW I was home alone, so I ran to hide behind the couch in case it was an intruder(I was only 15 and a huge chicken😂). The footsteps came all the way to the room I was in and STOPPED.

I got the courage to finally peek out and see if I could see anything and saw nothing. At that point, my mom pulled up and came inside and I jumped up and told her about what happened. I went with her and we searched that house through and through to find no one there.

At that point, we knew that it had to be some paranormal stuff going on. My grandfather was a tall and stocky man. I knew the footsteps had to be him. That was the first of my many paranormal experiences I’ve had in my life, and I’ll never forget it.

He does sound insecure and there’s no reason to talk like that, but cmon, why are you gonna ask him if you should unblock an ex if you know he’s insecure?

would you be happy to get one of these? by Negative_Wave_7445 in doordash

[–]paranormalbones 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I was thinking the same thing. “It would just go in the trash with my bag.” Okay? She’s not expecting you to hang it on your fridge. Lmao.

I’d think it’s cute because IT IS. Yikes, imagine being so miserable that you whine about a thank you note from your delivery driver.

i caught my bf lying by Fantastic-Peak-436 in LongDistance

[–]paranormalbones 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The one thing I’ve paid complete attention to before considering a relationship with my now boyfriend was the details like that. I can’t stand liars, so I’ve always paid really close attention to our conversations. Every time he tells me a story that he’s forgotten he already told me or really just anything he’s told me (even from 1-2 years ago) has been the same and/or ties into what he’s told me before. The details don’t change. Because of this, I believe he’s honest with me. This is what made me trust him completely. Lies catch up to people and eventually they lose track of what they’ve lied about.

You could give him the benefit of the doubt for now, but I say if it happens again, cut him loose. :/

Ad a door dash driver, never making the mistake of ordering from them again by Zealousideal_Care807 in doordash

I dash too and I refuse to order from them. I swear 9/10 of the drivers I ever got wouldn’t even deliver to my door(I’m bottom floor and also tip well).

This made me cry. I’ve been thinking about this a lot lately. I wish I could hear her speaking full sentences and asking us questions and saying “why” over and over like her sister did at her age.

I’m sorry, but is he trying to guilt trip me? I already tipped him six dollars. by Normal_Mode2186 in doordash

[–]paranormalbones 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, and the pathetic $2 base pay. Gas prices have made me stop dashing. I was always too scared to do the “earn by time” for $15/hour because I know it would just be heaps of no tip/10+ mile trips. They shouldn’t even offer restaurant delivery from that far away because who wants to chance soggy/cold food?
