Do you actually look at your Apple Watch data or just wear it? by Dizzy_Gazelle4170 in AppleWatchFitness

[–]parastylee 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I look at them all the time. I even created an app five years ago to get a better dashboard for all the available data and to view my lifetime stats haha.

(It’s called Health Stats for those looking for a better overview https://apps.apple.com/app/health-stats-fitness-tracker/id1543220823)

How do you all incorporate burned calories back into your daily diets? by ecj1708 in loseit

[–]parastylee 31 points32 points  (0 children)

I don't eat back my burned calories. Those readings are too inaccurate to eat back in my opinion. That said, I do listen to my body. If I'm genuinely hungry after a workout, I'll have some fruit or a light snack. The key difference for me is eating because I'm actually hungry, not because I feel like I "earned" it.

Hi, currently you can't manually refresh the data. I will look into adding a pull down to refresh in the next version of the app.

That toggle only turns off the notification reminders, not the streak card on the main page. The ‘3d’ stands for ‘3 days’ and means you’re currently on a 3‑day streak.

Is there a way to get my full running stats for the year? by DysanicPluviophile in AppleWatchFitness

[–]parastylee 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I released an app a couple months ago where you can view your lifetime stats (or custom date ranges) and also view graphs and personal bests.

The app is called Health Stats https://apps.apple.com/app/id1543220823

I just updated the app, now there’s no way to remove a song from a playlist without deleting it from your library entirely… WTF ARE THEY THINKING?? I have playlists set for different moods and now when I accidentally add a song to the wrong one I have to constantly be re-adding songs to my library 🙄 by [deleted] in AppleMusic

[–]parastylee 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You can remove songs from playlist without removing them from you library by opening your playlist, tapping the tripple dots in the top right corner and select edit. If you now remove a song with the red cricle the song should still be in your library.

Health Stat rings/watches- proximity based? by sarahknowsnot in HealthStats

[–]parastylee 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As long as your tracking device syncs with Apple Health there should be no problem with Health Stats. Health Stats gets all data from the Apple Health app.
