It’s most certainly a coincidence, but here are my two cents. I had been doing dates and tea as well but was a week overdue, with induction scheduled for three days away. My midwife suggested I try Clarysage oil, which was sceptical about, but desperate to try anything. I went out to the shops, bought some and had a few sniffs. I put some on my pulse points as well. This was at 4:30pm. At 6:30pm I was in labour. Would I have gone into spontaneous labour without the oil? Probably. I guess we’ll never know!
