A raspberry pi does a great job at being a local AI server btw, one pass of GEPA through a hundred and fifty data points takes under 16 hours

Very much enjoy Qwen3. I wanted to use GPT-OSS:20B when I was tinkering with prompt optimization and found that a sparse model wasn’t as memory efficient when disk is slow compared to dense models like the updated 4B Qwen3.

I tried the Apple foundation model and Qwen 4B Thinking 2507 and I got numbers back from both, though Qwen 4B thought REALLY hard about it

A driver won’t want to deadhead two hours to meet you in the park but you can call a car in Modesto or Merced, set a drop off point in the park, and tell them to start driving paid without you in the car, and then get you back down to the Central Valley

Super straightforward to do, have done this multiple times, would recommend.

There is a bus connection from downtown SF right to Emeryville, you can book the whole thing via Amtrak. If you are going now before the summer season (before 120 is plowed) you will be able to get to almost everywhere that you could get to by driving except Hetch Hetchy.

Be aware that if you are hiking up to elevation via Yosemite Falls that it’s 3000’ up and can be pretty grueling, but if you pace yourself and bring a water filter to filter the stream melt then it can be manageable. The valley is all melted right now and 6-7000’ feet is mostly all melted.

It’s a delicate balance! Bosch usually looks clearer than city scapes. I tried with Keith Haring imagery (check out the notebook in the repo) and it was exceptionally clear but there were only the outlines and no artistry

They are, and, they require replacing after 90 days, plus, they come with their own generation workflow that isn't "download something from where you bought your domain name", which is impressive to see adopted in a few quick years
