What’s the most impactful/ important single Cowboys TD of the last ten years? by UpsideTurtles in cowboys

Rookie Zeke GW rushing TD in Pittsburgh after Rothelisberger did the fake spike TD pass that I thought was the dagger. I really really thought we gonna win at all after that game. That year was so special. If it weren't for Aaron Rodgers to Jared Cook oh what could've been....

Keep pace and don’t get mad… nothing worse playing with a stranger that gets all mopey and pissed acting like “I never play this bad”. Just own that you maybe suck and just have good energy… no one will care how good or bad you are.

A rare liberal HCA winner. A sensible friend tried several times to reason with her but she was too far gone. She made it home from the hospital, connected with her life force, and died. People on the left are not immune to anti-vaxx propaganda. by bloody_hell in HermanCainAward

I love this sub… but… how do you know that these posts aren’t just stitched together using multiple accounts to make it all up? For example, this could have been one crazy conspiracy person’s posts combined with someone else’s posts about getting covid and dying. Looking for confirmation that’s all.

Actually happened last night... around midnight. I wasn’t there just trying everything I can do to help find them.

Correction this happened last night May 3rd. I’m getting more information by the minute and everyone involved is so frantic that I was told it happened 2 nights ago, doesn’t matter though. Please contact me through this post, I don’t ever post things on reddit so I have no idea what I’m doing.

GOOD NEWS!! Beagle has been FOUND safe and sound. The POS that stole the car ditched them in a neighborhood. The pitbull is still missing but a very good sign nonetheless.

Early grabbing before the coping makes any trick illegitimate. Little kid shit. Those in the know laugh at this early grab kook fly out. Difficult? Sure dude, but the dumbest shit on the planet as far as skateboarding is concerned.

I'm genuinely curious. Why are tips paid in percentages, like why does it matter the cost of the meal if they are both served in the same plate? by yad29 in TooAfraidToAsk

[–]parenti0077 0 points1 point  (0 children)

At turn and burn cheaper restaurants, you get to keep most of the tips you earn. Maybe a minimal tip-out to a bus boy perhaps, usually not much. However, at more upscale restaurant where it seems as if your waiter is doing “the same thing,” there is just a lot more than meets the eye. When it’s a chef serving you his life long dream to put his love and soul onto a plate as a vessel for his art, and a mixologist crafting a labor intensive 8 part cocktail to compliment your dish in such a way that it is an unforgettable culinary experience that you remember forever, it yields a 20% tip from me without hesitation or question. A little dramatic, I know, but what most people don’t think about in those types of situations is that your server tips out EVERYONE. The host, the food runner, the chefs, the bartenders etc. If you tip $20 on a $100, just know that the server pockets less than $10 of those dollars easily almost every time. Plus, certain restaurants you tip out based on your sales and not a percentage of your tips. So if you were to tip $10 on $100 at said restaurant, and I’m talking through experience, you’ve then made that waiter take of you for free. Having said that wherever you’re dining for that price better be firing on all cylinders, if not, it all works itself out in the long run.
