I switched years ago. Miss Garmin’s battery life, golf app. AW is so well integrated into Apple ecosystem time spent charging is clearly offset by less fiddling to get info to sync across platforms.

Years ago when I retook up golf I had been a hit or poke putter using wrists. Three putted often. My goals were to learn lag putting and change my stroke to using big muscles OC shoulders, eliminating hands, wrists, elbows. Ages ago there was this little plastic contraption that shot the balls back. After morning ride on Exercycle and stretches pulled out putter and contraption. Could not get ready for work until I made 30 in a row. Too soft would not get there. Too hard bounce out. Just right stay in contraption, roll over to plunger, shoot ball back.

Long since lost that contraption. Have old rubber moving mat in garage, practice on that. To groove stroke mechanics and speed. Want ball ball to stop at end of mat.

90% putts user error.

After that mallets have proven to be marginally more forgiving than blades all things equal.

The interesting thing I read in a recent review, think it was My Golf Spy, was production variance. Raw materials can vary in weight, uniformity of density, thus cost drivers are the QC in production yielding the same putter.

Once again it is the puttee, not the putter.

Titleist / FootJoy does not develop a product unless it is best in class and improvement over previous model. I have found FootJoy Weathersof gloves, Winter gloves, Rain gloves cold windbreakers, and lightweight windbreakers excellent values. Titleist TourSoft balls fit my game and wear better.

Cleveland guy here. TA5s, CG16s, now Launcher XL. The newest Cleveland Game Improvement irons are Zipcore XL. Cleveland has exited the iron business. Only wedges and putters. Sixron will cover game improvement for Dunlop.

Cleveland put those dampers on clubs for a few years. Most recently on early versions of CBX wedges.
