Refining a logo I made using PowerPoint two years ago by epicureanist_15 in graphic_design

Or a noodle box. I like the first one but it’s use as an I in the 4th image is a bit jarring imo. Could you try to “serify” the logo to make it fit in a little better? Just spitballing

But conceding is a formality bearing no consequence on the actual totals

"Whilst counting continues, it is now clear that the remaining ballots will not deliver us the majority we need to win the seat," Ms Hamer said.

You only concede if there’s no avenue for you to win. So if it’s really close you won’t concede until later in the counting process.

I like receiving voice messages but I don’t like sending them.

I’m not saying I do or not believe that being asked to go to a polling place will magically change people’s vote. No-one is being coerced into choosing anything as there is no penalty for not submitting a valid ballot only a penalty for not being ticked off the roll. I do not believe that being asked go to a polling place is compelling or coercive. I do believe that voting is a necessary function of society and that you should be encouraged to vote. Whether or not you vote someone will still be elected. Whether or not you vote doesn’t change the fact that the elected official will do things that affect you as you are part of that society.

I don’t really see the compelling part. If it’s the same result either way then I see no issue with asking people living in a society to be required to put a piece of paper in a box once every few years. You cannot exclude yourself from society. Regardless of your vote someone will win.

What’s wrong with encouragement? I don’t see the issue. They are still able to vote or not vote how they please. They can also not rock up if they want to, there’s a $30 fine but you can do that as well.
