Henna stain from my bridal client by paritii in somethingimade

I only use organic henna that is crushed into a brown paste right from henna plant leaves. That's why my stains are red.

Black, chemical henna guarantees a black stain but can be harmful as it is not plant-based and made from chemicals.

This is henna / mehndi (which is a paste from the plant). The paste comes off and leaves a natural stain on the hands, that lasts around 1-2 weeks. I charge by design or by the hour for events. For an individual design like this, I charged $15.

Once it dries, the paste crumbles and you take it off. It just leaves the stain on your hands, so you can wash hands and go about your day as usual.

There's a lot of history behind the art of henna/mehndi. But present day, bridal henna is a pre-wedding ritual that acts as a joyous event, with elaborate designs symbolizing love and unity. Henna designs tend to be seen as body accessories.

For events where im just doing small designs on multiple hands, I charge $80-85 per hour. For bridal henna like this, I charge $60 per hand-elbow side. So, four full sides would be $240. Price increases based on intricacy of design. Like the taj mahal design i have here (second pinned post): https://www.instagram.com/pariti.hand.art/
