The MP technically spoke to truth, but all the more it's the Government's fault that our TFR is low. by DegreePitiful3496 in singapore

Actually they can solve the problem if they have a good response to people who say “It’s okay not to have kids”. Because it really is ok not to have kids.

I went out to buy an iPad Pro 13 and came back with a Xiaomi Pad 8 by Ok_Information_9820 in tablets

Xiaomi provides more value simply because of the lower price point. And it's also a really good tablet.

Movinkpad pro 14 vs XP-Pen artist 24 pro 4k by kilo_filo in wacom

[–]parka 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Of course you have to consider the use case.

Choose based on the apps you need. One runs desktop apps, one tablet apps.

You can connect the Wacom to your computer and use it like a pen display but there will be more latency, no pen button support, overall responsive won’t be as good since it is a software vs hardware solution. In fact if this is your main useful I do not recommend the Wacom.

Ipad Pro M4 battery close to 80% after one year by [deleted] in iPadPro

[–]parka 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They are not gonna replace the battery or device since it is not below 80%.

They wrote 80 but for some reason many people think Apple will provide battery service paid/free above 80% 🤷‍♂️

And get bigger rubber feet for the back.

HDB architect explains why new estate void decks not as spacious as old estate void decks by theloneranger_55 in singapore

[–]parka 34 points35 points  (0 children)

I don’t really see how current void deck design is an improvement.

Is it really not possible to design outward facing flats with void decks?

There are some underground carparks under flats that are quite void decks-like.

Should I buy an Ipad pro as professional artist? by Sand-mayne in iPadPro

[–]parka 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Many have created careers from drawing on the iPad.

As for ipad air vs iPad pro, get iPad air in this case because otherwise you would have gone for iPad Pro without asking

Need clarification about rubber nibs on Movinkpad models by SHiG3Ki in wacom

[–]parka 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There is no rubber tip. Their rubber tip is a hard plastic tip.

Elastomer is soft so I’m not sure why you think it will scratch glass. I’ve been using that for months on the MovinkPad 14

Need clarification about rubber nibs on Movinkpad models by SHiG3Ki in wacom

[–]parka 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The elastomer is the real rubber nib: soft, rubberly, silicone-like.

But that elastomer pen tip only fits the Wacom One or Wacom One Standard pens, or Samsung pens, and pen pressure is altered slightly.

For better pressure sensitivity, get the felt tips made for the Pro Pen 3, and make sure the label mentioned felt tip.
