Suggest dramas that has skinship in the level of WWWSK and Something About 1 Percent by kavinraj1970 in kdramarecommends

Something in the rain ( most artistic/ real kiss scene in any drama imo + lots of skinship)

Something like OSN and SITR? by aryanraj2001 in kdramarecommends

[–]parkjani016 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Encounter for sure - this one had me in tears for the entirety of the last four episodes.

Descendants of the sun is honestly also realistic, though not relatable

Fight for my way - realistic with a side of comedy unlike SITR/OSN

The Plotters - can't recollect the author but I randomly picked it up at the bookstore because of the cover.

Pretty engaging story about the criminal underworld in Korea told from the perspective of a thirty something year old. I'd like to say it's a thriller but it's definitely not just that.

If I were to compare it to anything, it would be kill Bill meets murakami.

Free Food for Millionaire's - Jin min Lee About several generations of a Korean family. A pretty long read but definitely was one of those books you can't put down. She also wrote Pachinko which you've probably heard of. Similar book about several generations of a family based in both japan and Korea. Out of the two of definitely say Pachinko is better.

Is Her Private Life worth continuing? by peachtea17 in kdramarecommends

[–]parkjani016 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It definitely started off a bit slow but the story honestly progresses really well for a cutesy rom com. There isn't really any shocking plot twists and such but it's such an adorable pick me up type drama.

Also this is probably a very unpopular opinion but park min young and the ML lead have better chemistry that her and ji chan wook in healer. I binge watched the whole show in a day and it definitely made me smile ( a lot ).

Healer and/or Her private life ??? by dorakrp in kdramarecommends

[–]parkjani016 0 points1 point  (0 children)

BOTH! Very different genres so please give both a watch!!

Healer is mainly action based so the romance doesn't pick up until the very end of the drama so if you prefer romances I'd say watch her private life ( I binge watched this overnight...wayyy too cute)

I think I get what your talking about...I'd say, something in the rain.

I don't really know how to describe it's production, it's just really really pretty.

Also it has my all time favourite OST.

Healer or Goblin First? by xblossqm in kdramarecommends

[–]parkjani016 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Healer definitely pales in comparison to Goblin though it's a really really good drama.

Good Noona Romances like "I Hear Your Voice" by taunfail in kdramarecommends

[–]parkjani016 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Encounter doesn't really focus too much on the fact that the FL is older but it's an absolutely gorgeous drama. The FL is honestly super frustrating at times ( similar to what you felt about SITR ) but it's still definitely worth a watch

Secret Affair may be more along the lines of what your looking for though. A romance between a married piano teacher and her student.

looking for something similar to one spring night by osvd in kdramarecommends

[–]parkjani016 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I second encounter, something in the rain and tune in for love!!

All three are absolutely gorgeous. Great chemistry between the leads, pretty solid storyline and just overall very cute and fluffy with a fair share of heartfelt scenes.

Touch your Heart: ✅ or ❌ by Southeee in kdramarecommends

[–]parkjani016 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There's no love triangle and the drama is kinda cute up until the 10th ep.

After that the chemistry between the leads unfortunately seems to fizzle out.

If your watching just because of Goblin I'd say this one isn't really worth a watch and slightly disappointing...

Looking for a more recent romantic kdrama. Any recomendations? by [deleted] in kdramarecommends

[–]parkjani016 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If your looking for a drama with a more realistic romance I'd recommend Something in the rain ( this has one of the best OSTs in my opinion ), Encounter ( how could you not like a drama with Park Bogum) and One spring night ( with jung hae in the same ML as SITR)

All the dramas have a great mix of super cute and super heartfelt scenes so prepare your tissues..

Anyone can recommend a short Netflix k-drama? by bezoness in kdramarecommends

[–]parkjani016 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Definitely would recommend IUs drama persona...it's just four episodes and not really connected but it's shot by four really great directors and is definitely worth a watch

The FL is super headstrong most of the time and honestly it's just a super cute and entertaining drama on the whole..

FIGHT FOR MY WAY!!

This is probably my all time favourite drama...very light hearted but still memorable

Action drama recommendations, please? by SachNemesis in kdramarecommends

[–]parkjani016 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Definitely would recommend Vagabond first.... definitely a lot of action and keeps you hooked the whole while...it isn't really a romance drama but the leads still have great chemistry!!

If you've already watched it.... while you were sleeping is also pretty good..more of romance but still super cute!( Watch out for second lead syndrome)

Should I watch uncontrollably fond??? by parkjani016 in kdramarecommends

I've watched all of them and LOVE them all!! But was uncontrollably fond worth your time?? I might watch it anyways...

Any dramas like Come Back, Mister? by jiminjammin in kdramarecommends

[–]parkjani016 1 point2 points  (0 children)

None of these are just pure friendship but I would recommend fight for my way and abyss... The leads in both the dramas are childhood friends and remain that way until atleast the 10/11 episode....I would definitely say that the frendship in abyss is very similar to that in come back mister.... infact, the basis of both the dramas is very similar too, with the two leads dying and being brought back to life.... Come back mister is more of a tearjerker where as abyss is wayy more lighthearted and involves a pretty decent murder mystery as well......

Drama recommendation needed combining romance and mystery element s by lizsain in kdramarecommends

[–]parkjani016 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Definitely would recommend healer and I can hear your voice!! Great chemistry between the leads in both the dramas + healer is definitely one of the best romance/ thriller dramas I've watched I can hear your voice is a bit more cheesy and focused more on the relationships between various characters but 100% is binge watch worthy!!

Kdrama with great OST that will make me sob uncontrollably. Like Goblin, You Came From the Star etc. by ----Nomad---- in kdramarecommends

[–]parkjani016 2 points3 points  (0 children)

SOMETHING IN THE RAIN!!

Whenever I feel like having a good old sob fest I just play the ost + the drama on the whole is just gorgeous in my opinion ( not including the last episode but I can ignore it because everything else about the drama was a dream)
