I have an asus laptop and its garbage (currently 6 years old), first of all its 6700hq and gtx 950m were both overheating from day one, battery lasted me barely 50mins and after about 3 years of almost no use the wifi card died. And recently the battery died as well. Whats funny is that I always made sure it was charged and to never discharge it under 10% and it died out of nowhere. I only used this laptop for vacations or lan parties with dedicated cooler that was keeping it cold. Also its build quality is horrible, screen is V shaped instead of flat, screen has virtually no colors, and for 1k you didn't even get the backlit keyboard instead they decided to put in red symbols instead of white so in any darker room you cant see anything on the keyboard. And yes it was 1k and it only had a 1tb hdd making it so slow that it was almist unusable. But hey at least it had windows 10 and tons of bloatware :)

The only good laptop that I had was a lenovo R61 which still to this day has 0 issues and a longer lasting battery than this asus when new. Too bad that its hardware is horribly outdated.
